If the very first WrestleMania taught us anything, it's that celebrities will always have a place in the WWEUniverse. For years, WWE fans have been used to seeing actors, musicians, athletes, billionaires, reality stars and pretty much any other form of celebrity journey through WWE TV, with many treating it like a stop on a media tour (Leno, Letterman, WWE, Conan, etc...). Today, the most interesting WWE celebrity involvement may not even have an official agreement in place between parties.

With Old School RAW coming to Baltimore on Monday, I got a chance to talk to a WWE Superstar that is constantly referred to as “old school," Antonio Cesaro. We had a chance to talk about his past year, his affiliation with the Real Americans, his rise through the independent circuit, his time recently at WWE's developmental organization, NXT, as well as his thoughts on Old School RAW. Q: How would you characterize your 2013 in the WWE? A: Well, I started the year as the United States champion, and now I am not the United States champion.

This past Saturday in Rolling Rock, Texas, Mark Henry further cemented his nickname as the "World's Strongest Man. " The 17-year WWE veteran pulled a semi-truck at the Press Forward Back to School charity event presented by Agape Christian Ministries. Here's footage of the pull: Also on hand to support his fellow WWE Superstar was none other than The Undertaker, who took time to sign autographs for fans attending the event. Bonus points for the "Deadman" wearing a T-shirt with Pinocchio on it!

Before sitting down to watch CM Punk: Best in the World , I had already heard a lot about it. Most people unanimously praised it, going so far as to say it was the greatest WWE DVD documentaryever created. The words “honest,” “open” and “real” were often used. I can confirm these sentiments. The DVD is honest, open and real. But what I found most intriguing about the DVD is how much I found myself relating to CM Punk, and how likely it is that many working-class people watching the DVD will also relate to CM Punk's trials and tribulations, even if you don't have much in common with him. The DVD follows a logical life timeline, with sprinkles of Punk's interests and happenings in between chapters.

Highly touted prospects Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns have cracked the main roster in a faction now known as "The Shield. " In Boondock Saints fashion, the group's mission statement is to rid WWE of injustice. What I would consider an injustice is if the trio, particularly Ambrose and Rollins, weren't given a fair opportunity to shine in WWE. This faction is the perfect launching point. One of the biggest early complaints among fans about The Shield is that this was not the situation they envisioned their two latest heroes -- formerly of the independents -- to debut.

Zack Ryder has had the most up-and-down two years a WWE superstar can have. The 2011 calendar year was a dream for Ryder, whose YouTube hit Z! True Long Island Story made him the fifth-most followed WWE superstar on Twitter with more than a million fans. He was the United States champion, and was regularly showcased on TV and pay-per-view. But 2012 was a nightmare for Ryder. Seemingly all the glory of his YouTube hit fizzled (but the hard work of editing remained). After Wrestlemania, he was rarely seen on WWE TV. So far, 2013 is par for the course.

I cannot buy the Great Khali as a world champion, despite his status as a former champion. In fact, I cringe a little every time the Great Khali wrestles. The thought of him in an Elimination Chamber match (for the second time), enclosed in a structure where much could physically go wrong, makes me cringe even more. Unfortunately, I have been disappointed by more singles matches involving Great Khali than I have enjoyed. And yet despite all that, there clearly is value in him as a WWE Superstar.

Dear Dwayne, Two weeks ago I wrote about your return to WWE and quantified your statement: "I am never, ever going away. " I'm not one to repeat subjects too often, but in this case I simply couldn't avoid it. On Tuesday's episode of #AftermathTV on theScore , I ranted about you and your recent speeches in WWE, most notably your "Rock Concert. " Unfortunately we have a hard end on #AftermathTV and aren't able to go over time like RAW typically is able to do on the USA Network, so I had to keep my rant to 45 seconds.

During a phone interview with “Stone Cold” Steve Austin today promoting WWE '13 and Redneck Island on CMT, I asked “The Rattlesnake” for his thoughts on the controversial moment on Monday night's Raw involving Paul Heyman faking a heart attack (in case you missed it, detailed info can be found in my Raw recap here ). Austin, the most popular superstar from WWE's Attitude Era -- an Era that prided itself on  pushing the envelope and creating controversial situations that would have fans talking -- had an interesting response: "I believe in pushing the envelope in an aggressive fashion.

Roughly three times a year, John Cena changes colors. Typically we see his "kit" in a predominant black, green, orange, black again, red, purple, black again, etc. This time, the CeNation will wear a color their leader has never donned before - and it brings a charitable twist . Tonight at the Night of Champions pay-per-view event, for his main event match with CM Punk, John Cena will wear pink. Pink hat, pink arm band, black shirt with pink logo. The message? Rise Above Cancer.

Injury. Those six letters can be devastating to the career of any professional wrestling superstar, especially during the build-up to the biggest show of the year. In recent months, several of WWE's top stars have been sidelined with injuries of varying degrees. Christian, Rey Mysterio, Alberto del Rio, Sin Cara and Layla have all missed weeks -- if not months -- of action. Others like Mark Henry, Big Show and Ted DiBiase, who has been wrestling in a cast and brace, have been working despite injuries.
