Just before midnight Tuesday night, Triple H tweeted that the Ultimate Warrior died suddenly, barely 24 hours after making an appearance on RAW. WWE.com shortly followed that up with this statement: "WWE is shocked and deeply saddened to learn of the passing of one of the most iconic WWE Superstars ever, The Ultimate Warrior. Warrior began his WWE career in 1987 and quickly went on to become one of the biggest stars in WWE history. Warrior became WWE Champion at WrestleMania VI, defeating Hulk Hogan in an epic encounter.

Every year around this time, WWE slowly releases the list of superstars that will be inducted into its Hall of Fame. As this happens, there are various debates that inevitably ignite. Some of these debates -- often the topics most talked about on Twitter -- make no sense to me. This column won't completely eradicate arguments pertaining to the WWE Hall of Fame, but consider these thoughts before you engage in your next debate: You cannot compare the proper WWE Hall of Fame to the “Celebrity Wing” of the WWE Hall of Fame.

The final member of the 2014 WWE Hall of Fame class was announced last week, and while many people expected Scott Hall to be inducted, what they didn't necessarily expect is that it's specifically Razor Ramon receiving the honor. Scott Hall certainly deserves to be in the Hall of Fame. Factual or not, he's widely considered to be the first true “Cool Heel” as Razor Ramon. He was part of the first WWF ladder match against Shawn Michaels and was one of the greatest Intercontinental champions ever.

Fans inside Madison Square Garden witnessed something many thought would never come. There he was, the last to be inducted. With years of bitter feelings brushed aside, the crown jewel of the WWE Hall of Fame was introduced by Arnold Schwarzenegger. The Living legend, the man who held the WWWF title for over 4,000 days, Bruno Sammartino. He delivered his speech in his trademark even-keel and steady speech, passionate about his words and the stories he told. The speech felt very much like an abridged documentary about his life -- or perhaps an upcoming WWE DVD documentary.

Shawn Michaels, the man widely recognized as the greatest WWE superstar that ever lived, is thoroughly enjoying his life outside the ring. His new television endeavor, Shawn Michaels' MacMillan River Adventures, is a success, with the Outdoor Channel offering the program a multi-year deal. Michaels and company are currently filming more episodes. Michaels recently entered a sponsorship agreement with Deuce Brand to be the face of and creative force behind the "Showstopper" watch, an HBK-themed wrist piece.

On Monday night, something that was once unthinkable happened: The WWE announced the induction of The Ultimate Warrior into its Hall of Fame. Not much is needed to be said about the in-ring career of Ultimate Warrior (born James Brian Hellwig), or at least the peak of it. After being signed by the WWF, his combination of size and his energy made him one of the most popular wrestlers of that era. His matches, and especially his bizarre promos, are still talked about to this day. His title-vs-title match against Hulk Hogan at WrestleMania VI is still considered one of the most memorable matches of all time.

The WWE made official on Friday what was long-rumored: Hulk Hogan is returning to the company The WWE Hall of Famer is going to return on RAW on Monday, according to the WWE, and will take part in Wrestlemania 30 as a host, similar to what The Rock did for Wrestlemania in 2011. I had the chance to catch up with WWE Hall of Famer Bret "Hitman" Hart. In the video interview, the Excellence of Execution talks about traveling through treacherous weather conditions while driving a van full of wrestlers for his father, Stu Hart, during his Stampede Wrestling days in Western Canada. He also talks about the discomfort of wrestling outdoors in extreme heat, especially India, where a match with Yokozuna results in one of the grossest things he'd ever seen in a ring during one of his matches.

According to WWE DVD News, a new Ultimate Warrior WWE DVD has been scheduled for an April 2014 release. This is big news, considering the circumstances.  The man also known as Jim Hellwig has consistently said publicly that the "Self Destruction of Ultimate Warrior" DVD that WWE released in 2005 was one of the major points of dissension between him and the company. With a new DVD being released, it could heal this old wound, particularly if Warrior is involved in the project.
