A Marriottsville man arrested on theft and other charges waived a bail review yesterday and was held at the Carroll County Detention Center in lieu of a $20,000 bond, court records show.Michael J. Nagel, 21, was arrested Wednesday on charges of theft, forgery and passing five checks that were reported stolen Monday from a van parked at Resurrection Farm, a nonprofit men's shelter in the 3900 block of Arters Mill Road in Westminster.In charging documents, police accuse Nagel of stealing a briefcase and a checkbook at Resurrection Farm and going to Farmers and Mechanics National Bank in Westminster to cash checks totaling $1,400 on Tuesday and Wednesday morning.
