On March 17, 2008 IRA BAILEY "BILLY" WESTFALL beloved husband of Annette (nee Maholtz) Westfall; loving son of Juanita (nee Biller) Weese and the late Bernard Bibe; loving father of Ira Camden Westfall and his wife Katherine and Tyler James Westfall; devoted grandfather of Camden Bailey Westfall; dear brother of Brian, Sonya, Roy, Ginger, Loretta, Mary Jo and Patsy. Also survived by many other relatives and friends. Friends may call at the Eline Funeral Home, 934 S. Main St., Hampstead on Friday, March 21 from 3-5 p.m. & 7-9 p.m. where memorial services will be held at 4:30 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made in his name to the American Cancer Society, 8219 Town Center Dr., Box 435, Balto.

Loy W. HollerBrewer, 82Services for retired brewer Loy W. Holler of Glen Burnie will take place at 10 a.m. July 23 at the Kirkley Funeral Home.Mr. Holler, 82, died July 17 after a brief illness at St. Luke's Lutheran Hospital in San Antonio, Texas.He was originally from Davis, W.Va., and worked as a brewer for the Arrow Brewing Co. and the National Brewing Co. for many years, until he retired in 1974.He was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Deaf. Other interests included travel, wood crafts, and family activities.

BOYS Zach Westfall North Carroll, football Westfall played a major role in the No. 13 Panthers' 29-25 victory at Thomas Johnson of Frederick on Saturday. A junior slotback-defensive back, Westfall, 5 feet 10, 165 pounds, who is a sprinter on the school's indoor and outdoor track teams, caught a game-winning 67-yard touchdown pass from Stefan Mitchell with less than five minutes remaining. Westfall also had a 60-yard reception from Mitchell to set up the Panthers' first score. He finished his big game with six receptions for 200 yards and rushed five times for 54 yards.

One of the chief strategists who helped Charlotte, N.C., land an NFL expansion team says St. Louis appears to have corrected the mistakes of the past and is in a good position to lure the Rams out of Los Angeles.Max Muhleman, president of Charlotte-based Muhleman Marketing, is consulting for St. Louis as that city vies with Baltimore and Anaheim for the Rams."It seems to me that the support has been unified.
