Bowie State ran into the top-scoring men's basketball team in the country as host West Liberty of West Virginia won, 114-82, in the first round of the Atlantic Regional of the NCAA Division II tournament on Saturday night. Bryon Westmorland (Mervo) scored a team-high 18 points and Najee White added 13 points for the Bulldogs (16-14). Devoted husband of Lorraine (nee Wolf) Neutzel, beloved father of Carl Wolf Neutzel and Conrad Harrison Neutzel, dear brother of Madeline Franzone, Audrey Lawless and Ernest Conrad Neutzel. Also survived by six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son: Curt Jon Neutzel and a sister: Margaret Smith. On February 3, 2003 LORRAINE E. (nee Thompson) ARENZ SALTSMAN, of Maryland Line, Md; wife of Samuel A. Saltsman and the late Paul C. Arenz; mother of Paul and Craig Arenz and Nancy Brasse; step mother of Nancy Eyler and Charles Saltsman. She was predeceased by a step son Samuel A. Saltsman III. She was a sister of Joan Redmond, Cindy Bogue and Craig Thompson. Also survived by seven grandchildren. She was a member of West Liberty United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Womens. She retired in 1984 from Social Security after over twenty years of service.
