Friends may call at the family owned Ruck Towson Funeral Home Inc., 1050 York Road (beltway exit 26A) Wednesday 10 to 11 A.M. at which time a service will be held at 11 A.M. Interment Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers the family suggest memorial contributions to the American Lung Association, 1840 York Road, Suite K-M, Timonium, MD 21093.

On June 16, 2006, NORMAN L. WATKINS; beloved husband of Cynthia A. (nee Mc Mullen); devoted father of three children; loving grandfather of four grandchildren. Also survived by three brothers and one sister. Funeral Services will be held at the Connelly Funeral Home of Essex, 300 Mace Avenue, on Monday 10 A.M. Interment Loudon Park Cemetery. Visiting hours Sunday 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 P.M.

The family will receive friends on Monday, February 2, 2009, from 3 to 8 P.M. at Howell Funeral Home, 10220 Guilford Rd.,, Jessup, MD. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday at Reid Temple AME Church, 11400 Glenndale Boulevard, Glenndale, MD. Wake 11 A.M. to 12 noon. Service will follow. Interment Crownsville Veterans Cemetery on Wednesday, February 4, 2009.

On December 16, 2004, MARY ETHEL WATKINS; beloved mother of Barbara Ruth and Nancy Bush; dear sister of Calvin, Jerry and Raymond Glenn and Wanda Dolan, Kathleen Horn and Mildred Stem; grandmother of numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and a future great-great-grandson. Also survived by many loving family members and friends. Relatives and friends may call at the family owned AMBROSE FUNERAL HOME OF LANSDOWNE, 2719 Hammonds Ferry Road, on Saturday and Sunday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 P.M. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday at St. Clements I Roman Catholic Church, 2700 Washington Ave., Lansdowne, at the funeral hour of 1 P.M.

Jacquelyn Ramsey Watkins, an executive secretary, died of pneumonia Monday at Collingswood Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Rockville. She was 80. Mrs. Watkins grew up in the Remington section of Baltimore in a "house of 1,000 smiles," as she often described it to family members. She graduated from Western High School in 1940 and took courses at Strayer Business School in Baltimore. She married George Lautenberger of Baltimore in 1942. She worked as an executive secretary for several companies, said daughter Fredericka Sutton of Laurel, and also worked several night jobs, including one in real estate sales.

COLLEGE PARK -- Sophomore David Garey scored on a 5-yard run and Watkins Mill held off a late charge by Montgomery County rival Winston Churchill en route to a 10-6 win in the Class 4A state football title game last night at the University of Maryland's Byrd Stadium.The victory gave Watkins Mill (11-2) its first state championship, as well as redemption for a 7-6 loss to Churchill (12-1) earlier this season.Gary scored on a 5-yard burst with 3:05 left in the third quarter to give the Wolverines a 7-0 lead.
