Millard B. Fleischer, a retired business executive and World War II veteran, died of leukemia Monday at his home in Chevy Chase. He was 86. Born in Baltimore, he graduated from City College and attended the Johns Hopkins University, where he played lacrosse. He enlisted in the Army Air Forces at the outset of the war and served in the Pacific. An aerial gunner, he also chronicled the war as a combat correspondent for Yank magazine. After the war, he joined the Jos. M. Zamoiski Co., an appliance distributor in the Baltimore-Washington area.

BECKER, age 86, of Bethesda, MD beloved husband of Miriam Goldspinner Becker; adoring father of Phyllis (Duke) Zimmerman of Baltimore, MD, Kenneth (Arlene) Becker of Potomac, MD, Marjory (John) Becker-Lewin of Manhattan, NY, Richard (Nancy) Becker of Highland Park, IL and William (Melinda) Becker of Washington, DC; loving brother of David (Helen) Becker. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held at Washington Hebrew Congregation, 3935 Macomb St., NW, Washington, DC at 10:30 a.m. Monday, November 15. Interment Judean Memorial Gardens, Olney, MD. The family will be in mourning Monday and Tuesday at his late residence.
