POLICE* Keymar: A resident of Keymar reported to state police that someone stole a 1971 Kenworth tractor from outside his house Saturday. The tractor was valued at $10,000.* Taneytown: A resident of Taneytown reported to state police that someone stole a hydraulic pump from his house on Saturday. The pump was valued at $600.FIRE* Taneytown: Taneytown firefighters responded to a wash detail on East Baltimore Street at 11:40 a.m. Saturday. Crews were out for 22 minutes.* Tyrone: Pleasant Valley firefighters responded to a wash detail at an accident in the 2600 block of Tyrone Road at 12:27 p.m. Saturday.

FIRE* Hampstead: Units from Hampstead, Manchester, Lineboro and Arcadia of Baltimore County responded to a report of smoke in a house on Gross Mill Road at 9:34 a.m. Wednesday. Units were at the scene for 46 minutes and Arcadia transferred an engine to fill in for Hampstead for 30 minutes.Hampstead responded to a wash detail on N. Main Street at 6:41 a.m. Wednesday.

Stanley W. King, a Taneytown plumbing and heating contractor, has been honored for his service on the board of directors of the Tressler Lutheran Fund.The fund is an endowment that supports Tressler Lutheran Services' programs for children and families.
