Someone broke into a home and stole cash, a computer and two computer drives Saturday. Rustling Bark Court: 7900 block, Long Reach. On March 17, someone broke into a home and stole jewelry, a computer and a credit card, which was later used at three locations. Falls Run: 8500 block, Long Reach.

Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County. Baltimore City Northern District Robbery: A motorist was stopped in the 2300 block of Maryland Ave. about 11 a.m. Tuesday when he was approached by a man who appeared homeless and in need of help. When the man neared the vehicle, he pulled a handgun and ordered the motorist out of his 2000 Ford Explorer with tags M47870777. The gunman then robbed the motorist of $400, a cellular phone and drove off in the vehicle.

Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County. Baltimore City Southeastern District Bank robbery: A man robbed Provident Bank of Maryland in the 3800 block of E. Lombard St. about 6:15 p.m. yesterday while implying he was armed with a handgun. He was fleeing with money inside his shirt when a hidden dye pack exploded. Police recovered the scorched shirt and said that the man might have suffered burns to his upper body. It was not known whether he escaped with money.
