Wiley, THomas L. and Richard A. Hylton and Kathy Northrop, caring step-father of John E. Brown, adoring grandfather of 2 and loving uncle to many nephews and nieces. The family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral Home P.A., 1 Second Ave SW (at Crain Hwy) Glen Burnie on Monday from 7 to 9 P.M. and on Tuesday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 P.M. The Funeral Ceremony will be celebrated on Wednesday at 11 A. M. in the funeral home chapel.

On July 1, 2003 VERNON CHARLES KELLY, M.D. of Elkridge Estates, Baltimore, MD., beloved husband of Susan Lines Kelly and devoted father of Dr. Vernon C. Kelly Jr. of Philadelphia, PA., Frederick L. Kelly of Annapolis, MD and Gregory S. Kelly of Littleton, CO. Also survived by eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held in the Chapel of the Church of the Redeemer, 5603 North Charles St (at Melrose Avenue) at 2 P.M. on Thursday July 10. Interment private.

Born July 5, 1921 at his parents' home on Greenmount Avenue, Vernon (as he was known to his family); Lee, (the nickname he asked to be called by friends) was called to God's Heaven at 5:23 a.m., February 22, 2008 while a resident in the Rolling Park Manor Care Nursing Home. Vernon served inn the United States Navy from March 2, 1939 to October 20, 1945 when he received his Honorable Discharge. At the time he had attained the rank GM 21/C and was Gun Captain of a quad 40 mm on the U.S.S.
