Baltimore homicide detectives are investigating the fatal shooting of a woman in the 1400 block of Franklintown Road on the city's west side. The woman, who police have not identified, was shot once in her upper body around 5 a.m. Sunday, according to Det. Kevin Brown, a police spokesman.
