County police are looking for the gunman who robbed the First Federal Savings Bank of Annapolis on Monday.Police said the masked robber walked into the bank in the first block of West McKinsey Road about 11 a.m. and demanded money. The teller put the money on the counter, and the robber put the cash in a brief case.He was last seen running south toward the Severna Park Library.Police described the robber as a white male, about 6 feet tall, wearing a brown knit cap, a blue coat and faded jeans.

Tuesday was a bad day for Charles David Kennedy.The Jessup man was almost robbed, his car was ransacked and he was arrested on traffic charges.Police said Kennedy, 35, of the 8100 block Sheffield Court, picked up a hitchhiker on Laurel-Bowie Road in Prince George's County.The hitchhiker told Kennedy he wanted to go to Meade Village to buy drugs, police said. After they arrived in Meade Village, the hitchhiker went into a home on Meade Circle Road.He came out with two other men and tried to rob Kennedy, said the victim, who ran to an apartment building and pulled the fire alarm.

A 31-year-old Glen Burnie man is being held without bond on armed robbery charges in connection with a convenience store holdup last week.John Stewart, of the 7600 block Spencer Road, is in custody at the county detention center. He is charged with the gunpoint robbery of the High's store in the 7900 block of Crain Highway at 10:30 p.m. Wednesday.Police said that after the clerk handed over the cash, the banditran behind the store toward a Glen Mar Road apartment complex.Police later found the gun in a stairwell of an apartment building in the 400 block of Glen Mar Road.

County police are looking for a man who robbed a Ferndale convenience store early yesterday morning.Police said the robber walked into the 7-Eleven store in the 200 block of Baltimore-Annapolis Boulevard at about 4:30 a.m., put a weapon in the clerk's back and demanded money.The clerk gave the robber all the money and he left the store.Police described the robber as a white man in his 20s. He was wearing a blue-hooded sweat shirt and blue jeans and had a mustache.OFFICIALS INSPECT MAGIC DISH LEFTOVERSCounty fire investigators were looking for the cause of a fire at a Pasadena restaurant yesterday.

A Domino's Pizza deliveryman was robbed Tuesday in Severn.Countypolice said that as the man was delivering pizza to a home on Clearwater Court at 12:40 a.m., two men walked up to him and held a knife to his face.After being given about $25, the robbers ran toward the Still Meadows area, police said.Police described the robbers as black men in their early 20s. One was wearing a black jacket, and the other a white sweat shirt.GLEN BURNIE YOUTH ON DRUGS CHARGESA 17-year-old Glen Burnie youth was charged with possession of crack cocaine Tuesday after police searched his home.

An Edgewater man was robbed Monday after accepting a ride from two men who offered to take him to get some beer.County police said the victim was walking on Selby Boulevard about 1 a.m. when the men drove up along side of him.They drove him to River Road, pulled him out of the car and beat him before takinghis coat and wallet, police said.No description of the robbers was given.A compilation of some of the break-ins reported to county police:CROWNSVILLE:700 block of Shelton Road: Jan. 27, entry gained through the basement door.

as car runs off roadTwo teen-agers were killed when their car ran off the road and hit an embankment Saturday night.The driver, Brian Michael Brazil, 18, of the 200 block Scotts Manor Drive, Glen Burnie, was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.John Robert Pumphrey, 17, of the 900 block Oakdale Circle in Millersville, was pronounced dead at the Maryland Shock Trauma Center at University Hospital in Baltimore shortly after the 10:40 p.m. accident.Another passenger in the car, James Edward Campbell, 20, of the1500 block Wampanoag Drive in Severn, was in critical condition yesterday at the trauma center.

SEVERN WOMAN DIES FROM CRASH INJURIESA Severn woman died Tuesday from injuries she received in an accident last week.Debbie Lewisse Upton, 18, of the 1600 block Disney Road, was pronounced dead at the Maryland Shock Trauma Center at University Hospital in Baltimore.The police said Upton was a passenger in a 1986 Dodge when the driver lost control of the car on Conway Road in Gambrills and hit a tree about 11:25 p.m. Dec. 14.Police said speed and alcohol contributed to the crash.N.C.
