Two people were shot in Baltimore Friday night, police said. An adult male was reportedly shot in the hand in the 1500 block Fairmount Ave., according to Det. Jeremy Silbert, a police spokesman. Two men are being treated at Johns Hopkins Hospital after they were shot in East Baltimore early Saturday, according to city police. Officers responded to a call about 1:25 a.m. to East Preston and North Aisquith Avenue, but Det. Donny Moses, a police spokesman, said the victims were not there. A few minutes later, police were notified that two men with gunshot wounds walked into the Hopkins emergency room. Moses said that each man, ages 28 and 35, had been shot several times in the legs.

A 22-year-old man was found fatally shot inside a vehicle that had crashed into two others in East Baltimore Sunday night, one of three murders over the weekend in Baltimore. Officers responded to a call of a shooting about 10:45 p.m. and found the victim suffering from apparent gunshot wounds in the 1400 block of Holbrook Street, just east of Greenmount Cemetery. The unidentified man was slumped over the steering wheel of his Mitsubishi Diamante, which had collided into a Nissan truck that was pushed into another vehicle.

A city police officer who heard gunshots Friday afternoon quickly responded and saw a man shooting a handgun, and the officer fired at least one round himself before the gunmen escaped, according to a department spokesman. Police said the armed man jumped into the passenger seat of a silver-colored car that sped away from West North Avenue and McCulloh Street about 3:15 p.m., leaving behind two victims suffering from gunshot wounds. Both were taken to area hospitals for treatment.

City police were investigating three overnight shootings that wounded three and left one dead. The fatal shooting occurred in the 900 block of N. Port St., in the Milton-Montford neighborhood of East Baltimore, at about 8:30 p.m. Police said a 47-year-old man was shot in the head and taken to an area hospital, where he was pronounced dead at about 10 p.m. Police have not released the victim's name pending notification of relatives, said spokesman...

A 27-year-old man died after being shot multiple times in Northeast Baltimore, one of three people shot in the city on Sunday, according to police. The fatal shooting occurred shortly after 2:30 a.m. in the 5200 block of Darien Road. Police responding to calls about gunshots said they found the victim, Kyndal Staten, in the nearby 5900 block of Laclede Road, in the Cedonia neighborhood near the city-county line. Police said that Staten had suffered "multiple gunshot wounds.

City police have identified two men fatally shot over the weekend. Police said 23-year-old Lawrence Edwards was the victim found shot Friday night in the 2200 block of Elsinore Ave. Officers had been called to the scene at about 7:50 p.m. for a report of a shooting, but did not find a victim. At about 9:10 p.m., someone reported a body in the street, and Edwards was found suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, police said. On Saturday, at about 10 p.m., police said Jeffrey Smith , 32, was walking out of a 7-Eleven in the 4400 block of Belair Road when a masked gunman approached and shot him. He was later found in the 4200 block of Nicholas Ave., just around the corner, and taken to Johns Hopkins Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Baltimore police are investigating a nonfatal shooting that happened Saturday night in Southwest Baltimore. Officers responding to a report of a shooting in the 4700 block of Vancouver Road at 11:18 p.m. discovered two men suffering from gunshot wounds, police said. Police said that one man, 27, had been shot multiple times and that the second man had been shot in the shoulder and was found in a parked car. Police said both were taken to a local hospital for treatment. Detectives believe both victims were inside the parked car when they were shot, police said.

Two people were shot shortly after 10 a.m. Saturday in the 100 block of E. 22nd St., police said. A 36-year-old woman and a 38-year-old man were conscious and breathing when they were taken to the hospital and are in serious but stable condition as of 12:45 p.m., said Baltimore police spokesman Detective Kevin Brown. They are expected to survive. The victims were in a burgundy SUV at the time of the incident, he said. The woman was shot multiple times, wounding her in the hip and leg, and the man had been shot in the arm, he said.
