Two men suffered non-life-threatening gunshot wounds in separate shootings in Baltimore on Monday, according to city police. About 2:15 p.m., officers responded to the 1200 block of W. Cross Street, in the Washington Village/Pigtown neighborhood of South Baltimore, for a report of gunfire and found a man with a gunshot wound to the hip, said Detective Jeremy Silbert, a police spokesman. The man was taken to an area hospital and is expected to survive, Silbert said. About 3:49 p.m., officers were called to an area hospital, where another man had arrived with a gunshot wound to the body, Silbert said.

Two men sustained life-threatening injuries after being stabbed in White Marsh on Thursday night, according to Baltimore County police. Officers responded to the 8600 block of Winding Way, near the southbound Interstate 95 off-ramp onto westbound Route 43, about 7:40 p.m. for a report of a stabbing and found the two victims, said Cpl. John Wachter, a police spokesman. Both victims were taken to an area hospital, Wachter said. He did not know their ages or identities. The county's Violent Crimes Unit was dispatched to the scene and continued to investigate late Thursday, Wachter said.

Two men who robbed a McDonald's restaurant in Abingdon Friday evening remained at large Sunday morning, the Harford County Sheriff's Office said. At about 7 p.m. Friday, two black men entered the McDonald's in the 400 block of Constant Friendship Boulevard and robbed the manager while patrons were eating in the dining room, the sheriff's office said in a news release Sunday morning. One robber, described as a black man, 6 feet tall and wearing all black with white/gray work gloves and a black beanie cap, entered the restaurant and approached the manager.

Bullets grazed two victims' foreheads in separate Baltimore shootings overnight, while another man was shot in the back and side. City police are investigating the incidents to determine whether they are connected because of shooter descriptions that victims gave to police, Det. Vernon Davis said. The first was reported before 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, when a 23-year-old man walked into Maryland Shock Trauma Center with bullet wounds to his left arm and left forehead, Davis said.

Police are looking for two men who robbed a pizza delivery driver in Glen Burnie Tuesday, police said. The 46-year-old victim was delivering pizzas to a house in the 600 block of Leprechaun Lane at 7:37 p.m. when two men approached him. One displayed a knife and demanded cash, police said. The victim gave the suspects an undisclosed amount of money while one of the men stole the pizzas. The suspects ran toward Four Leaf Clover Drive. They are described as black men. One is 6 feet tall and wore a dark sweatshirt with a hood and khaki pants.

Flagged down by concerned people, police responded to a large fight in downtown Baltimore just before 2 a.m., where they found two men injured from cuts. As police arrived on the corner of Market Place and Lombard Street a large group of people had started to disperse. Officers found one victim with a cut to his back and wrist and another with cuts on his elbows. Both were taken to area hospitals with what police say were non-life threatening injuries. Police arrested two suspects at the scene: Lucas Baumeister, 27, and James Forbes, 30, both of Parkville.

Two men were sentenced in the death of a Glen Burnie man who was shot as he walked toward his Light Rail stop in Baltimore Highlands nearly two years ago. Baltimore County Circuit Court Judge S. Ann Brobst sentenced Damonya Cook, 20, of Glen Burnie to a life sentence, while Keith Burgess, 23, of Halethorpe received a life sentence with all but 35 years suspended, according to a release from the county state's attorney's office. The two men had been convicted of first-degree murder in the death of Vincent Thomas, 20. Thomas' body had been found in a field at Annapolis Road and Illinois Avenue in Baltimore Highlands on Feb. 19, 2011.
