Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Rob Deer suffered an arm injury last night at the Mount Washington Tavern after an apparent scuffle in the bar's second-floor restaurant. The laceration to his forearm required stitches, and Deer, the team's leading home run hitter, was treated at Sinai Hospital emergency room and released early this morning. An emergency room supervisor declined to reveal details of the injury, saying only that Deer was treated and released and that any questions would have to be directed at Deer, who was unavailable for comment.
