The Lakers winners of three straight since losing, 14-8, to No. 3 Patterson, have RB Darnell Pearsall (874 rushing yards, six TDs) and second-team All-Metro WR Terril Lowery (16 receptions, 326 yards, six TDs). They presently rank third in the 4A North Region but a distant 14th in the race for a spot in the eight-team state playoffs.

Class 1A No. 10 Dunbar (10-3) vs. Fort Hill (12-1) When -- Today, noon Outlook -- This is the third state final matchup between the teams, with Dunbar winning in 1994 and Fort Hill winning in 1997. The high-scoring Sentinels of Allegany County use a power-oriented running game behind an offensive line of Josh Absher, Justin Hardinger, Jon Heavner, Anthony Weisenmiller, David White, Jesse Robinson and Zach Stevens. RBs Scott Rice and Drew Yurko have scored 20 and 17 TDs, and Fort Hill rushed for 323 yards in its sixth straight win last week over No. 15 Havre de Grace, 57-14.
