Taste In Clothing

He also has a collection of 1939 World's Fair memorabilia.How would you describe your taste in clothing?I favor European clothes, particularly British-inspired tailoring. I tend to a double-breasted, Burberry sort of look. I enjoy putting different pieces together which some people would not even consider, often mixing something conservative with something loud.

Cameron Barry is the owner of Cameron Barry & Co./Marketing Communications, a public relations and marketing firm. Jill Cohen is the co-host of the WBAL News Journal and president of Cohen Communication, an image consulting company. Brenda Chavis is a secretary for the Maryland Division of Corrections, but she has an active lifestyle outside of her daily work schedule. Her weekends are busy with four-wheeling, body building, dancing and fishing when she does not have part-time modeling assignments. But her real love is writing. Shewon a writing contest sponsored by station WWIN promoting the Patti Austin song "Givin' in to Love," with a prize of an appearance on the Joan Rivers Show. "It was a great moment for me," Ms. Chavis says, "we had 10 minutes of air time talkingabout love and Joan Rivers told me I could be Miss America."

Carroll H. Hynson Jr. of Pasadena is the deputy director for Public Affairs at the Maryland State Lottery. Mr. Hynson enjoys power boating on the Chesapeake Bay, which he says is the best therapy in the world. In the winter, he likes to spend time running, skiing and watching boxing.How would you describe your taste in clothing?It ranges from conservative to trendy. My favorite in ultimate fashion is Hugo Boss, but I also have no problem in wearing a basic, everyday quality suit. I never wear the same color two days in a row -- I try to rotate my clothes so that it appears that I have more than I do. Also, I try to tastefully color-coordinate my wardrobe with eyeglasses with lenses or frames that match my outfit -- without being gaudy.

Our Halloween Witch is Carri Benson, who is dressed in the same outfit that she plans to wear to work tomorrow at The Paper Shop in Timonium. Carri loves to dress for all occasions and when she's not planning her costumes for that next occasion, she spends her time writing whimsical short stories and poetry. She always said you could never go wrong wearing a little black dress.

How would you describe your taste in clothing?I like classic clothes, nothing trendy, punky or outrageous.What's the newest thing in your closet?A pair of unusual green and purple plaid pants. I love slacks and although I should probably wear skirts in my job, I feel better in pants and a jacket.What's the oldest thing in your closet?A fisherman's sweater that my aunt gave me.Do you have a true "standby" that you wear to feel good and look good?Yes, it's a coat dress with white lapels. When I put that on with heels and jewelry, it makes me feel important.

Joe Loverde is an associate broker for Coldwell Banker and specializes in commercial property sales. Relaxation for Joe means traveling and playing golf. He admits that his game is still at the stage where he doesn't keep score, but knows he hasn't broken a hundred yet. He also plays racquetball and works out a couple of times a week.How would you describe your taste in clothing?Classic with particular attention to details that reflect a casual sophisticated look. I'm attracted to the Italian designers, because the cut makes the clothes fit better.

Kenny Eggerl is partner in 3 West Casting modeling agency which produces and styles many fashion shows for area malls and retailers. To get away from the fashion whirl, Mr. Eggerl enjoys biking, swimming, skiing and driving about in his VW convertible.How would you describe your taste in clothing?I'm conservative and classic,never flamboyant.
