Anglophiles have a friend in Linda Anne Bunch.For the last two years, this Oxford native turned Owings Mills resident has painted glittery crowns, bright Union Jacks and double-decker buses on everything from bibs to headbands. Her business, Linda of London, caters to Marylanders with a penchant for wearing their love of all things English on their shirts, socks and jackets.There is one export she hasn't plastered over clothes yet: the royal family. That's primarily because painting faces has proved difficult.

Melanie Pefinis works as an assistant producer for the International Division of Maryland Public Television after graduating from Towson State University with a degree in film. She has had an appreciation for clothing and textiles ever since shebegan designing clothes as a hobby at age 8. She is also active in local theater and dance.How would you describe your taste in clothing?My taste in clothing is like my personality; a paradox. I love simplicity with a -- of eccentricity -- something classic paired with something shocking.

How would you describe your taste in clothing?Conservative for work -- I wear dresses and a few suits that are appropriate for work. On weekends, I like more contemporary clothes, like jeans and miniskirts. One dress I love is the one I bought for my daughter's christening. It's ivory lace with a high neck. I've only worn it once, but it would be great for a second wedding.What's the newest thing in your closet?I just bought four new dresses for fall. Khaki green is popular and I bought two of the same color, but different styles.

Dorene Clark is an accounts payable supervisor at Anne Arundel County Community College and she's a fashionable dresser at work and in her off hours. According to those who know her, the only thing that compares with her fashionable style, is her quick and analytical mind.How would you describe your taste in clothing?For the most part, I would say my taste is modern. It really depends. If I go in a shop and see something and the colors grab me -- then I have to have it.What's the newest thing in your closet?

G. Warren Mix, an attorney with the law firm of Turnbull, Mix & Farmer in Towson, is the current president of the Baltimore County Bar Association. Mr. Mix is an avid sports fan with a special interest in golf and lacrosse.How would you describe your taste in clothing?Very conservative, but I do have a flair for bright colored sportswear and golfing attire.What's the newest thing in your closet?A navy blue turtleneck for golf, which I purchased at the Golden Horseshoe Golf Club, and two ties which I bought in Williamsburg.

Michael E. Ward is a self-employed CPA and a golfing bachelor who finds the end of tax season and the beginning of golf weather a blessed time of year. He is a devout Irishman and is currently the president of the Friendly Sons of St. Patrick of Baltimore.How would you describe your taste in clothing?Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. I like bow ties with pin-stripe suits and button-down shirts for basics. For shock effect on friends, I'll wear a blue blazer and bow tie with Bermuda shorts to the Hunt Cup races whenever I think I can get away with it.What's the newest thing in your closet?

Irene Sacilotto wears clothes which reflect her unusual life style and artistic flair. She has a busy schedule managing two careers. For 40 hours a week, she's the branch chief of a chemistry lab with the U. S. Army Environmental Hygiene Agency,where she manages a team testing environmental contaminants. Her second career is professional nature photography. She conducts photo workshops and tours worldwide. How would you describe your taste in clothing?My clothes are as varied as my life style: fashionable business suits for the executive; wild and crazy outfits for the artist; khaki and camouflage for the naturalist and world traveler.

Cindy B. Loverde is an associate broker with Coldwell Banker and specializes in residential property sales. She and her husband share a love of travel and she adores horse back riding, theater, concerts and dining out as well as gourmet cooking.She and Joe are Gold Key members of Weight Watchers.How would you describe your taste in clothing?I love a classic tailored look. For example, a total look for me would be a suit with a nice silk blouse and pearls, or a dress with a jacket. And always the proper shoes.

Belinda Simmons works for Long and Foster Realtors and can PTC hardly wait until the economy starts booming again. When she's not showing property, she's doing something athletic like working out at the spa, aerobics, dancing, soft ball and puttering with golf.How would you describe your taste in clothing?Classy, but I dress in things that look good on me whether they're in style or not. I watch my colors and buy clothes in my favorite colors (black, white, fuchsia and red). I never buy a color I don't like just because it's in style.
