"The book 'Cam Jansen and the Mystery of the Babe Ruth Baseball' by David A. Adler is a mysterious book. The book is about Cam and Eric who were in the community center when the Babe Ruth baseball disappeared. One reason why I like this book is when Cam said 'click,' she remembered all the things she saw. Another reason that I like this book is Cam is only in fifth grade and she is already a detective."-- Zhi YinHalethorpe Elementary"I enjoyed the Disney fairy tale 'Beauty and the Beast.' I think the illustrator made the pictures beautifully.

SHELTER ISLAND, N.Y. -- Alice Fiske, grande dame of Sylvester Manor on this coastal island, emerged from the stately Georgian house, steadying herself with a walking stick, to inspect the defacement of her handsome front lawn. " 'Sylvester and the Magic Pebble' is by William Steig. It is about a donkey named Sylvester who collects pebbles. He found a red pebble and a lion came and Sylvester wished he was a rock. It was good because it has a lot of details. I would recommend this book to all grandfathers because they like stories like 'Sylvester and the Magic Pebble.' Editor's note: A couple and their son discover the true meaning of having everything you can wish for.Sylvester Duncan lived with his mother and father at Acorn Road in Oatsdale. One of his hobbies was collecting pebbles of unusual shape and color. On a rainy Saturday during vacation he found a quite extraordinary one. It was flaming red, shiny, and perfectly round, like a marble. As he was studying this remarkable pebble, he began to shiver, probably from excitement, and the rain felt cold on his back.
