Another beautiful day of sunshine, low humidity and highs around 80 degrees is forecast in the Baltimore area on Friday. A chilly start to the day was expected, with temperatures dropping to 56 degrees early Friday morning at Baltimore-Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport. Temperatures were forecast to climb into the 70s by mid-morning. Mostly sunny skies are forecast throughout the day. The weather pattern could start to change Saturday, with clouds moving in and bringing chances of rain starting overnight Saturday into Sunday.

A warm and sunny yet windy day is forecast Wednesday before temperatures start to slide again into the weekend. Mostly sunny skies are expected, with temperatures in the 70s for most of the day, peaking in the upper 70s in the afternoon. Winds of 15-20 mph are forecast through the afternoon. Lows Wednesday night into Thursday are forecast in the 40s to lower 50s. More sun and highs in the lower 70s are forecast Thursday, with a chance of rain showers moving in overnight into Friday and lows again in the 40s and lower 50s. Rain is possible throughout the day Friday and into the weekend.

Mostly sunny skies, low humidity and highs in the 80s are forecast Thursday as a stretch of pleasant if not unseasonably cool weather continues. Overnight lows were expected to hit the upper 50s, rising into the lower 80s by the afternoon. Light winds of 5-10 mph are expected. Temperatures could approach record lows early Friday, dropping to the lower 50s. Friday's record low is 49 degrees. Clear, sunny skies are forecast Friday, with highs in the lower 80s and light winds.

Low humidity, sunny skies and highs in the mid-80s are forecast Friday before muggy air brings clouds and storm chances for the weekend. Dew points are forecast in the 50s making the air feel cool and dry, but with clear skies, sunshine could be intense.  Clouds were expected to start moving in overnight, with mostly cloudy skies now expected for much of the holiday weekend. Humidity is also forecast to jump up Saturday and increase into Labor Day on Monday. Highs are forecast in the mid-80s Saturday, and could hit 90 degrees on Sunday for the first time in August, on the last day of the month.

Good beach weather is forecast for Ocean City this weekend, at least until likely storms arrive on Sunday, according to the National Weather Service. Highs are forecast in the upper 70s with partly cloudy to mostly sunny skies Friday and Saturday. On Sunday, storms are likely to move through. The weather service is calling for a 60 percent chance of storms starting around midday, with more than half an inch of rain possible. Three-foot waves were forecast Friday with a low risk of rip currents.

Similar weather, with some increasing clouds in the afternoon, is forecast Friday. But muggy weather is forecast for the long Labor Day weekend. Highs are forecast in the upper 80s Saturday, with dew points in the upper 60s making the air feel sticky. Scattered storms are possible Sunday, with highs around 90, and more high humidity.

Temperatures fell to 54 degrees at Baltimore-Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport early Friday; the record low there for Friday's date is 49 degrees. Clear, sunny skies are forecast throughout the day. Light westerly winds are expected. Similar weather is forecast Saturday, with highs in the lower 80s and sunny skies. Humidity is forecast to return Sunday, with some thunderstorm chances and cloudy skies.
