A man with no bottom front teeth stole $750 worth of stereo equipment from an Annapolis church Wednesday and rode off on a bicycle. A construction worker renovating the church chased the man and retrieved the equipment, county police said.The thief, however, is still at large.Charles Haupt, a trustee at Weems Creek Baptist Church in the 600 block of Bestgate Road, told police the man walked into the church about 1 p.m., stuffed an equalizer and two microphones into a knapsack, ran out to an orange, Huffy bicycle and fled, police said.

County police arrested a Brooklyn Park woman Tuesday on charges of breaking into a Pasadena home and stealing $1,506 worth of stereo equipment and coins.Police said an 11-year-old boy saw a woman pulling at a locked sliding glass door at his house in the 8500 block of Summit Road about 9: 30 a.m. and ran to the home of a neighbor to call police.Police said the neighbor went to the house and stopped a woman who was leaving through a side door and held her for officers.Officers found bags with stereo equipment, coins and jewelry near the door, police said.

Burglars hit parked carsFour cars in the parking lot of Jumpers Cinema were broken into Friday and Saturday, police reported.The cars were in the front parking lot of the movie theater, at Ritchie Highway and Jumpers Hole Road, when thieves smashed the windows and took stereo equipment and other property valued at $1,760.
