Suspect in shooting released on bondMan is charged as an accessoryMatthew August Balaz Sr. of the 2400 block of Sandymount Road near Finksburg, charged with two counts of being an accessory after the fact in the shooting death of Gregory Lamont Howard on Jan. 28, was released on $10,000 bond Wednesday night.Bail for Mr. Balaz was reduced from $25,000 by a Carroll County District Court judge Wednesday after his arrest Monday night for his alleged role in disposing of the shotgun used in the slaying.
