The crime report is a sampling of crimes in Howard County compiled from police. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 410-313-3700. West Columbia Evengeline Way: 5100 block, Wilde Lake. Someone broke into a home Jan. 24 and stole money. Little Patuxent Parkway: 10300 block, Town Center. A man was walking to a bus stop Jan. 23 when he was approached by two men in a car who displayed a gun and demanded money. After he handed over cash, they sped away. Elkridge Washington Blvd: 7900 block.

In a sign that the developer of the Key property in southern Howard County still has a way to go in winning over neighbors, more than 60 worried residents turned out last night to voice their concerns about the developer's planned upgrade of area roads. The developer, the Rouse Co. affiliate Howard Research and Development (HRD), is seeking state and county permission to add an access point from the Key property in North Laurel to Route 216 between the Interstate 95 interchange and the intersection with All Saints Road.

Company seeks permit to add Route 216 access Howard Research and Development Corp. has applied for a state access permit to allow a new access point to Route 216 between the Interstate 95 interchange ramps and All Saints Road. The proposed improvements include construction of a ramp and bridge over eastbound Route 216, ramps along westbound Route 216, improvements to the Route 216-All Saints Road intersection and an extension of North Laurel Road to connect to the new access road south of Stephens Road.
