Elizabeth "Betty" Lee, a retired catering assistant and Social Security Administration clerk who fought a prolonged battle with kidney disease, died July 21 of a hemorrhage at her Fallstaff-area home. She was 74. Born Elizabeth N. Sheridan in Baltimore, she was raised on McCulloh Street in the northwestern section of the city. She was a member of Frederick Douglass High School's Class of 1944 and earned her general equivalency diploma in 1969. As a young woman, she worked at Hutzler's department store, baking rolls, cakes and pies in its downtown bakery.

Anders, a financial officer at the Rockville headquarters of the Indian Health Service, were scheduled for 10 a.m. today at St. John's Episcopal Church, 3738 Butler Road in Glyndon.Mr. Anders, who was 62 and lived in Reisterstown, was killed Sunday in an automobile accident at Park Heights Avenue and Caves Road.He lived in Reisterstown for about five years, and earlier had resided in Union Bridge and Bethesda.He worked at the Indian Health Service for more than 20 yearsand previously had done financial work for other government agencies and public companies.
