Interment Parkwood Cemetery.

Jeff Bzdelik and Robert Reid -- assistants under former Washington Bullets coach Wes Unseld -- were dismissed this week, sources said yesterday. Both had interviewed with new coach Jim Lynam about the assistant coaches' positions.Bullets general manager John Nash, however, would not confirm the firings."Nothing is official at this point," he said. "At this point there's no changes in the assistants. Next week we'll have something concrete."

Hannah Neilson, a homemaker and hospital volunteer, died of cancer March 12 at Hope Hospice in Fort Myers, Fla. The Phoenix resident was 74. Born Hannah Shipley in Baltimore and raised in Newton, Mass., she was a 1947 graduate of Eastern High School. She became a part-time medical secretary for her uncle, Dr. George Bowers Mansdorfer, a pediatrician whose office was in the 2900 block of N. Charles St. A member of the Woman's Club of Roland Park, she formerly belonged to the Lutherville Garden Club.

Robert C. Reid, a decorated veteran and the longtime State House columnist and reporter for the Frederick News-Post, died in Annapolis yesterday after a three-year battle with cancer. He was 63.Fighting his cancer until the end, Mr. Reid delayed a trip to the doctor last week to file what turned out to be his final column -- a typically tongue-in-cheek effort suggesting he should be allowed to deduct from his taxes the amount he spends on food for the animals in his neighborhood."He had an interesting style.

Robert R. Neilson, 73, founding partner in commercial real estate company Robert Reid Neilson, a retired commercial Realtor who secured roadside retail sites for gasoline stations, fast-food vendors and convenience stores, died Monday of lung cancer at Greater Baltimore Medical Center. He was 73 and lived in Phoenix. As one of the founding partners in 1968 of Kayne-Levin-Neilson-Bavar Inc., better known as KLNB Inc., a commercial real estate company, he negotiated land deals and leases for hundreds of local and national businesses.

About $36,000 in currency was seized from two passengers at Baltimore-Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport this week, and another man was arrested on a drug possession charge after marijuana was found in his baggage, customs officials announced yesterday. Officials also announced that two stolen vehicles were intercepted last week at the port of Baltimore before they could be shipped to West Africa, bringing the number of stolen vehicles recovered there this year to eight.
