Good God this show is depressing. It's fun to look at dead bodies and blood and guts a little bit, but then you throw in all the nihilistic conversation and abandoned long distance hikers and by the end of the episode you're just like ._. This episode was kind of a departure from the norm because it didn't really address the Woodbury-Prison storyline at all, and it really only featured four characters: Rick, Carl, Michonne and ... Morgan!...

Hello kiddies! First of all - if you're reading this thinking "Oh shoot! Did I miss the premiere of season three of 'The Walking Dead'?!" - no, don't panic. This is just a blog about the special season three preview that aired on AMC this weekend, culminating with Sunday night's episode of the "Talking Dead" panel show. Yup, I was that bored that I took the time to write a blog recapping a preview of a show that won't come back on the air for another three months.

It's 9 a.m. on a recent Saturday and I am one of 20 day campers sitting around a fire pit in rural central New Jersey. Doused in suntan lotion and bug spray, we are all there for the same reason: to learn survival skills, particularly those meant to fend off cannibalistic corpses. Yes, you read that correctly - cannibalistic corpses, more commonly known as zombies. From TV favorite "The Walking Dead" to last year's blockbuster "World War Z," the flesh-eating foes are everywhere.

For the second time in three years, West Friendship residents are fighting what they fear would be a pit stop for Interstate 70 motorists. They fear that three gas pumps planned by High's Dairy Stores Inc. would pollute an adjacent creek, strain the ability of nearby land to handle additional septic waste and create traffic problems.Rick Grimes, who lives behind the West Friendship Shopping Center property where the High's convenience store opened in June, said his concern is that the pumps would generate more bathroom stops than gas stops.
