On January 4, 2005, CALLIE L. RICE; beloved wife of the late Wilbur B. Rice; devoted mother of Mary Susan Rice and Alice Louise Phipps; cherished grandmother of Stephan T. Phipps. Friends may call at the family owned Evans Chapel of Memories - Parkville, 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 P.M., Thursday. A funeral service will be held 10 A.M., Friday. Interment Gardens of Faith Cemetery. There will also be a memorial service to be held Saturday, January 15, 2005 at 2 P.M. at Parkville Baptist Church. Sweeny, Jr. Survived by sister-in-law Dorthea Browning. Also survived by many loving family and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the Witzke Funeral Home of Catonsville, Inc., 1630 Edmondson Avenue (1 mile west of beltway exit 14) on Thursday 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 P.M. A Memorial service will be held on Friday 11 A.M. at Catonsville Presbyterian Church.

On January 2, 2006, HAMMOND A. RICE, 90, of York, PA, formerly of Parkton, MD. Husband of Dorothy Ann (nee Dixon) Rice, to whom he was married 64 years on May 10, 2005. Father of Carol Smith, Ann D. Mallory and Stephen H. Rice. Also survived by eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, January 5, 2006 from J.J. Hartenstein Mortuary, Inc., 24 Second St., New Freedom, PA. Friends may call at the mortuary from 7 to 9 pm on Wednesday.

On May, 19, 2003, WILLIAM THOMAS SR., age 68. Loving father of Beverly Cenpini, Brenda Galashian, Tina Finamore, Bebbit Mawyer, William Thomas Rice Jr., and Shannon Thompson. Brother of Joann Schoenadel and survived by 16 grandchildren and other friends and relatives. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, May 29, at 10 A.M. at the St. Augustine Catholic Church, 5976 Old Washington Road, Elkridge, MD. Interment will be private.
