Saying they were borrowing from traditional Indian beliefs, about 50 ecology activists gathered at Loch Raven Reservoir Sunday to honor the spirits of 10,000 trees that are being cleared by Baltimore Gas and Electric Co. for a transmission line. One in the group said the tree-cutting was as "tragic" as the killing of people "in a deep ecology sense."The Evening Sun would like to know what you think.
