A 28-year-old man died after he was stabbed Sunday night in Randallstown and a suspect has been arrested, according to Baltimore County police. Officers responded to the 3800 block of Pikeswood Drive for a report of a stabbing at around 10 p.m., said Baltimore County police spokeswoman Detective Cathy Batton. The 28-year-old had gone on his own to Northwest Hospital and was pronounced dead several hours later, Batton said. At the Randallstown address, police took a 54-year-old suspect into custody.

A 19-year-old Randallstown resident has been charged with murdering a homeless man and is being held without bail at the Baltimore County Detention Center, police said Friday. Keon Rashid Cunningham, who lives on the 5400 block of Old Court Road, was arrested in the killing of Adeolu Adedgoke Otemolu, 33. The crime occurred on Nov. 5 behind Cunningham's home, where Otemolu was found with several gunshot wounds. He was taken to Northwest Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The following day, an autopsy was performed on Otemolu by a pathologist in the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner, who determined that the manner of death was homicide.

A woman who prosecutors said brought a rifle to the shooting of a Reisterstown teen pleaded guilty Monday to attempted first-degree murder and use of a gun, according to a spokesman for Howard County prosecutors. Howard County Circuit Court Judge Richard S. Bernhardt set a sentencing date of July 5, when prosecutors are expected to seek a 25-year sentence for Chiquita Sketers, 22, of Randallstown, according to spokesman T. Wayne Kirwan. The plea stems from a June 19, 2012, incident in which Sterling Randolph Watts, 15, was shot in the back of the head, but survived life-threatening injuries.

Baltimore County police were investigating the fatal shooting of a 19-year-old man Monday night in Randallstown. The victim was identified as Willie Cedric Jackson of the first block of Heatherton Court in Milford Mill. According to police, officers were called about 11:45 p.m. to the 4000 block of Winlee Road, where they found Jackson suffering from gunshot wounds. He was taken to Northwest Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Police had no suspects and had yet to determine a motive.

No. 14 Randallstown found itself trailing for most of the game to No. 6 City at the 17th Basketball Academy at Morgan State. But a flurry of steals and fast breaks in the final five minutes led to the Rams upsetting the Knights, 57-51, on Saturday in boys basketball. Brian Jefferson and Ahmaad Wilson had most of the steals for Randallstown in the fourth quarter. The Rams remained composed at the free-throw line, making 10 foul shots down the stretch and 21 of 25 for the game.

More than three years after 55-year-old Rodney Lewis was found lying in a pool of his own blood on his kitchen floor, Baltimore County police have charged a man his family had accepted into their Randallstown home. Eric Isaiah Johnson, 20, was arrested this month in the 2009 killing of Lewis. According to police, Lewis arrived home early and found Johnson and two other youths ransacking the home. Lewis' family had allowed Johnson to stay with them shortly before the killing, according to charging documents.

With the Class 2A playoffs quickly approaching, Randallstown senior guard Ahmaad Wilson looks to lead the Rams on an extended postseason run. Having reached the state semifinals while playing at Owings Mills as a sophomore in 2011, Wilson knows what it takes to get to Comcast Center. He's excited about the possibility of a return trip to College Park with No. 11 Randallstown. Wilson fit in immediately after transferring to the school this year. A team leader, he's averaging 16.0 points, 3.0 assists, 2.5 rebounds and 2.5 steals for the Rams.

An MS-13 gang member wanted in Honduras in the killing of a man with a machete was arrested Monday at his home in Randallstown, federal authorities announced. Oscar Orlando Amador Centeno, 29, had previously been deported in January 2010 for illegally entering the country, and officials say that in July 2010 he struck a man three times with a machete on a soccer field in Olancho, Honduras, and stole his wallet. Amador Centeno re-entered the country at an unknown time and began living in Randallstown.

A 29-year-old Randallstown woman was fatally shot yesterday near her home in the Liberty Crossing Apartments in the 8600 block of Bramble Lane, Baltimore County police said. Police said the woman, whose name was not released last night, was shot about 5 p.m. near the parking lot of her apartment complex. The woman died a few hours later at an area hospital. Two suspects were arrested shortly after the incident, but police did not know of a motive for the shooting last night.
