Baltimore police are seeking help identifying a man who on March 15 robbed a Wells Fargo Bank in the 4800 block of Eastern Ave., near Greektown and just west of Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center. Police said the man handed a teller a note implying he was armed with a handgun. Authorities did not say whether any money was taken. The assailant is described as a black male in his early 20s, about 6 feet tall and and weighing about 180 pounds. He was last seen wearing dark sunglasses, a gray jacket, and dark jeans.

Baltimore County police continue to search for a 24-year-old man who they believe shot his girlfriend's ex-husband with a BB gun at Hereford High School in Parkton Wednesday night. Police on Thursday morning said they have an arrest warrant for the suspect, Ernesto Alexander Piche, of the 19900 block of Gunpowder Road in Manchester. The victim had gone to the school to see his son, where he and Piche got into an argument in the parking lot next to some athletic fields, police said.

Maryland Natural Resources Police continue to investigate the case of a man who was shot while kayaking Saturday night and then paddled himself to shore, where he was found the next morning. Police don't know who shot the 56-year-old man from Reston, Va., who was on the water in Main Creek off Bodkin Creek in Pasadena. He had planned an evening of stargazing and reading on a tablet. "We'll find the shooter. It's just going to be a matter of time," said Sgt. Brian Albert of the Natural Resources Police.

A man was injured in a shooting in the parking lot of Pip Moyer Community Recreation Center in Annapolis Monday night, police said. The victim was taken to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore after the shooting, which occurred at about 6:30 p.m., Annapolis police said. The man's injuries were not believed to be life threatening, police said. The recreation center is owned by the Annapolis city government. Mayor Mike Pantelides is in "close contact" with Annapolis Police Chief Michael Pristoop, but declined to comment on the shooting, said city spokeswoman Rhonda Wardlaw.

Police are searching for a black Honda Accord in connection with a shooting Friday in Baltimore's Coldstream Homestead Montebello neighborhood that left a victim in serious condition. The victim, who is stable, was shot in the 1700 block of Homestead Street around 4 p.m., police said The year of the Accord is not known. Ocean City Police are searching for a 15-year-old girl who was reported missing on June 28. Tabitha Williams lives in California but was visiting Ocean City for vacation. Her foster mother reported the girl missing and police believe the teenager may be attempting to travel back to the West Coast. Williams is described as having shoulder-length black hair and hazel eyes. She was last seen wearing a yellow tank top and denim shorts. Police are asking anyone with information about the missing girl to contact Det. Nick Simpson with the OCPD's Criminal Investigation Division at 410-520-5349.

City police are searching for two men who are suspected of stealing a car and shooting a man who authorities said had stopped to ask directions early Monday in Southwest Baltimore. Police said the victim had stopped his car in the 3500 block of Winterbourne Road about 1:25 a.m., and asked two men for help. Police said the men gave directions, but then got into the car, pulled out a gun and demanded money. At some point, the car's 35-year-old occupant was shot in the arm, police said.

Baltimore police are seeking help in identifying a possible suspect in the April 24 shooting death of a 59-year-old man who was shot while sitting on the front porch of a home in West Baltimore. Police identified the victim as Floyd Dorsey, of the 4100 block of Norfolk Ave. He was shot about 10:45 p.m. that night in the 2500 block of Harlem Ave., and died at Maryland Shock Trauma Center. Authorities have released few details on the shooting. They said a man approached Dorsey, shot him and ran away.

Two men wearing ski masks forced their way into a Millersville apartment Friday night, and assaulting a 34-year-old woman and one of four juveniles in the apartment at the time, Anne Arundel County police said. The suspects who demanded money and prescriptions drug fled on foot before officers arrived at the 600 block of Milldam Court, police said. The two suspects were described as black males wearing all black clothing and carrying handguns. One suspect was 6 feet 3 inches tall with a thin build and the other was 5 feet 7 inches tall with a stocky build, police said.

Baltimore County police continue to look for the suspect in a Lansdowne stabbing, along with his missing girlfriend. Police said Rony Leonel Deleon, 28, is wanted in a stabbing at a home in the 3000 block of Bero Road in Lansdowne on Wednesday. Police are also searching for Deleon's girlfriend, Damaris Noemi Chavez-Calderon, 24. Police said they want to confirm that she is unharmed but it is unclear if the two are together. Chavez-Calderon is Hispanic, 5'5" and 140 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

Baltimore County police continue to search for the second suspect in a double killing in Rosedale last month. Charles William Mitter, 39, and Tyray Avia Wise, 26, were stabbed more than 70 times in a dispute over $25,000, investigators wrote in court documents. Mitter also was shot several times. Police charged Carlos Lomax, 45, a few days after the killings. But police said Lomax, who is Mitter's stepbrother, had an accomplice. The second suspect is described only as a black man, 5-foot-7 to 5-foot-8, wearing a black jumpsuit with white socks, according to charging documents filed in District Court.

Montgomery County police Sunday continue to search for two young children who went missing with their mother earlier this week. The mother, Catherine Hoggle, was found Friday without the toddlers. Despite questioning, Hoggle has not helped police find the children. "Catherine Hoggle remains in police custody while detectives continue to interview her," Capt. Paul Starks, a police spokesman, said Saturday morning. "The welfare and location of the children remain our primary concern.

An 11-year-old boy in Laurel was thrown from his bicycle Saturday when he was hit from behind by a minivan whose driver then fled the scene, Anne Arundel County police said. The boy was hospitalized at Johns Hopkins Pediatrics Emergency Department with non-life-threatening injures, and is listed as stable. He was riding his bike with his father, going with the flow of westbound traffic, in the 3500 block Whiskey Bottom Road when he was hit, at about 6:30 p.m., police said. The westbound side of that block does not have a sidewalk.

An anonymous call reporting an armed person holding a hostage at the University of Maryland, College Park prompted campus police to search the Main Administration building and two others Wednesday before declaring the report unfounded. When the call came in at 3:27 p.m., the department evacuated and swept the administration building, which houses the offices of the president and provost, and nearby Lee and Mitchell buildings, police said. Lee and Mitchell contain the bursar and registrar's offices, respectively.

Baltimore County police are searching for a 15-year-old Reisterstown girl who went missing last month. Khadija Myar Lovelace was last seen around 2:30 a.m. on July 11 at her home in the unit block of Glyndon Gateway. Police said she has runaway before but has always returned home. Lovelace was described as being 5 feet 6 inches tall and 162 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. Police said she has a tattoo of a moon and flower on her chest, the name "Taylor" on the right side of her chest and the name "Carl" on her left wrist.

A robber struck a Royal Farms in Fells Point on Sunday night, leaving with a peculiar payday that only a sweet tooth could covet. The man, described as a black man in his 40s with a light beard, about 5 feet 10 and 170 pounds, wearing a red jacket with white lettering over a black hooded sweat shirt, entered the convenience store sometime before 7:43 p.m., police said. He walked down the candy aisle, pulled out a bag and began sticking boxes of candy into the bag, police said.

Baltimore County police are investigating a series of arsons that resulted in nearly $50,000 in damage, destroying several cars, sheds and the roof of a business in Edgemere Sunday. Firefighters were first called at 3:57 a.m. to an apartment building in the 2600 block of Sparrows Point Road after a resident heard a popping noise outside his apartment and saw smoke and flames at the rear of the building, police said. The fire was extinguished and no injuries were reported, police said, but several other fires were reported nearby.

Anne Arundel County Police are searching for a man they say has posed as a worker for a local water company in order to burglarize homes. Police responded Friday morning to the 200 block of Hammonds Ferry Road in Linthicum where a woman said that she was approached by man who said he worked for a local water company and was investigating a water leak. He followed her into her home, and a few minutes after he left, the victim noticed some of her personal property was missing, police said in a release.

An employee at a cosmetics store in Annapolis was pepper sprayed after trying to confront a suspected shoplifter on Friday, according to Anne Arundel County Police. Two suspects are now being sought in relation to the incident - on shoplifting and second-degree assault charges - and a string of other thefts from other Ulta Beauty stores in the area, police said Sunday. The incident Friday occurred at the Ulta Beauty in the Harbor Center shopping center in the 2500 block of Solomons Island Road, police said.
