Aberdeen Aberdeen police report: Someone broke into a garage and stole a dirt bike, then broke into the home in the 300 block of South Drive last Friday. Two people were in custody on suspicion of stealing at Walmart on Saturday. A car was vandalized and tires missing in the 100 block of South Philadelphia Boulevard on Saturday. A vehicle had expired license plates at Economy Inn, in the 600 block of South Philadelphia Boulevard, on Saturday. Threatening text messages were reported Saturday in the first block of Moyer Drive.

Two Maryland Transportation Authority Police officers were injured while stopped by the side of Interstate 95 in Elkridge on Wednesday night, after their cars were struck by a motorist who has been charged with drunken driving. Sgt. Jonathan Green, a police spokesman, said an officer responded after a license plate reader at the southbound Fort McHenry Tunnel put out a stolen-vehicle alert for a car with Virginia tags. He said an officer made a traffic stop of a 2007 Ford Taurus near the Route 100 interchange and was soon joined by a corporal.

Baltimore County Police say a woman was killed Saturday in a single car crash in the Cockeysville area. According to police, at 1:20p.m., Nov. 10, police and fire personnel responded to the area of Padonia Road and Beaver Dam Road for a report of an accident involving injuries.  When officers arrived, they discovered a Honda had run into a light support pole at Beaver Dam Road and Texas Station Court. Police said they believe the car, which was driven by a woman in her 60s, was traveling southbound on Beaver Dam Road approaching Texas Station Court when the car was struck by a deer.  The Honda then struck a light support pole.  The driver of the Honda was pronounced dead at the scene by medical personnel.  She was later identified by police as Suzanne Natalie Selby, 62, of Lutherville.

Baltimore officials began delivering 80 new police cruisers to the Northeast District Friday morning. The Chevy Caprice PPV police cruisers, purchased for more than $2 million, will be equipped with mobile data terminals, which will allow officers to electronically create and submit police reports from their patrol vehicles. The cruisers are also equipped with sophisticated mapping software to better track stolen vehicles, city officials said. "These new vehicles will allow our officers to spend more time in our communities, and continue to make Baltimore a safer city," Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake said in a statement.

An Odenton man died Saturday night after the car he was driving collided head-on with a Maryland Transit Administration bus in Glen Burnie, sending his 14-year-old passenger and nine people on the bus to area hospitals, police said. Anne Arundel County police said Marcus Antonio Anderson, 27, of Odenton, died before reaching a hospital after the 9:47 p.m. crash. His passenger, who was not named by police, was taken to Johns Hopkins Pediatric Trauma Center, where he was in stable condition, police said.

Two men were killed and an unidentified woman was critically wounded in a shooting late Wednesday in Southwest Baltimore, police said. Police said officers were first called to the 600 block of Linnard St. about 9 p.m. for reports of shots fired but did not find anything suspicious. Later, around midnight, officers received a call from a man who said he was inside a home where people had been shot. When police arrived, the caller was gone and officers found the victims inside.

A 42-year-old woman was killed in a fatal car accident in Columbia on Monday night after her truck collided with a tree, according to Howard County police. Police responded to the 5600 block of High Tor Hill about 9:30 p.m. for a report that a truck had crashed, police said. Police said based on an initial investigation, they believe the woman was alone, driving a 1999 Dodge Dakota south on the road when the truck left the roadway for an unknown reason and struck the tree. She was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

Two adult drivers, including a Baltimore City police officer, were transported to the hospital Sunday afternoon following a two-car accident in the 800 block of Walker Avenue, near The Alameda. According to witnesses, the city police car and a burgundy sedan collided on Walker Avenue, and the police car knocked down part of a wooden fence. The sedan was driven by a woman, according to one witness. Neither driver appeared to be suffering life-threatening injuries, and the officer was seen walking around after the accident, according to a witness.

On Saturday night, Denise Kostka and her husband, disturbed by loud voices, peered out from their eighth-floor room in the Renaissance Baltimore Harborplace Hotel and saw at least 100 teens massing on the street below. "I never saw anything like that, ever," said Kostka, visiting from Springfield, N.J., to take in the sights and see her niece who lives in Federal Hill. Then they saw police surround a car. "I thought, 'Oh my God, it's "COPS" live,'" Kostka said, referring to the popular reality television show.
