police blotter Police reports in Baltimore city and county Central Baltimore Victim named Yesterday, police identified the man shot about 5 a.m. Nov. 7 in the 600 block of Sewell St. near Argyle Avenue in the Upton neighborhood. Leroy J. Taylor, 45, died yesterday at Maryland Shock Trauma Center. His home address was not available. Police were in the area for another call when they heard gunshots and found Taylor bleeding from multiple wounds. No arrest has been made.

About 100 people and businesses were robbed in Baltimore for the week ending Sept. 27, a spike of more than 60 percent compared to the prior week yet down from the same time period last year.  Eight of the robberies occurred downtown or in the Inner Harbor, while the entire Southwestern District reported just three robberies. The same statistics show robberies for the year are down 12 percent compared to last year. The Northern District saw the most of any of the Police Department's nine police districts, with 21. Eight of those robberies appear to have occurred in a single incident in the 5900 block of York Road on Sept.

The Harford County Sheriff's Office and Maryland State Police report: Aberdeen Tyrone Keith Sterrette, 35, of the 200 block of Perrywood Court, was charged Tuesday with second-degree assault. Aberdeen police report: Jatierra Janae Briggs, 18, of the first block of Valley Bottom Road, was charged Tuesday with vandalism less than $1,000. Brian Edward Logan, 53, of the 100 block of Armstrong Avenue, was charged Tuesday with second-degree assault and trespassing.

The Harford County Sheriff's Office and Maryland State Police report: Aberdeen Corey M. Cregar, 24, of the 500 block of Frontage Road, was arrested Tuesday on a bench warrant in a case in which he was charged with narcotics possession with intent to distribute and drug possession other than marijuana. Forshaye Dashawn Williams, 21, of the 100 block of Holloway Lane, was arrested Tuesday as a fugitive from Virginia. Myulika Brooks, 28, of the first block of Valley Bottom Road, was arrested Wednesday on bench warrants in cases in which she is charged with disorderly conduct, theft less than $1,000, theft between $1,000 and $10,000, theft less than $100 and trespassing.
