Baltimore CityROBBERY:Western District -- Two men, one with a sawed-off shotgun, robbed Vinzinni's Pizza in the 1200 block of W. Baltimore St. of more than $100 Tuesday night.BURGLARY:Western District -- Someone stole two telephones and a coffee maker, valued at nearly $200, from a trailer at Central Maintenance Co. in the 1600 block of N. Carey St. between Dec. 31 and Jan. 4.ROBBERY: Western District -- Two men, one with a sawed-off shotgun, robbed a resident of the 500 block of N. Mount St. of $160 in the 200 block of Bethel Court Tuesday night.

Baltimore CityOFFICER SHOT AT/ARREST: Southeastern District -- Police arrested an employee of a Chinese restaurant in the 2000 block of E. Monument St. Sunday morning after he reportedly fired a shot at a police officer he mistook for a burglar. Officer Drew Dorbert was in the back yard of the restaurant at 3 a.m. looking for a burglar when someone in an apartment over the restaurant fired a shot that nearly hit the officer in the head. Entering the apartment, the officer recovered a handgun and arrested the employee, who was expected to be charged with assault by shooting at Officer Dorbert and discharging a firearm.

An early-morning four-alarm fire in Fells Point left three businesses destroyed and two others damaged yesterday as flames ripped through buildings that have stood for more than a century. Gone are the Rite Aid Pharmacy, Scratch and Dent Liquidators and the Star Express takeout restaurant -- three staples of the 400 block of Broadway, not far from the Broadway Market. Also damaged with smoke and water were a neighboring bicycle shop and a tax preparation business. Battalion Chief Steve Canter said he had no damage estimate yesterday.

Baltimore CityASSAULT/ATTEMPTED ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- A man armed with a shotgun pointed it at another man in the 3100 block of Howard Park Ave. at 10:20 p.m. Tuesday. Nothing was taken.RAPE: Northwestern District -- A woman was grabbed by a man who put his hand over her mouth and pulled her over to a grassy area and raped her in the 3900 block of Garrison Blvd. at 4:30 a.m. Monday.ATTEMPTED ASSAULT/ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- Two men pushed a woman in the 5800 block of Reisterstown Rd. shortly after 10 a.m. Wednesday and attempted to take her purse.

BALTIMORE CITY* ARRESTS: Northeastern District -- Two men entered an apartment in the 5900 block of Daywalt Ave. Monday afternoon looking for property but fled without taking any. Later, they were arrested. At the police station, the men were interviewed about robbing a man of his cash and property, all valued at more than $500, earlier near the apartment building.* THEFT: Northeastern District -- Someone stole a 26-inch bike valued at more than $300 from the front porch of a house in the 5500 block of Todd Ave. Monday.

Baltimore CitySTOLEN VEHICLE/ARRESTS: Southern District -- Police arrested six west Baltimore boys between 12 and 16-years-of age after the stolen 1987 Jeep Cherokee they were riding in struck one police car and at least 10 other cars during a pursuit throughout sections of south Baltimore and downtown Wednesday. Officer Frank Zapushek was slightly injured when his police car was rammed in the 1800 block of Annapolis Road. At Light and Conway streets, said Officer Steven Histon, the driver of a Volkswagen was injured when his car was struck by the Jeep, reported stolen earlier in west Baltimore.

Belvedere Ave. Wednesday when she was assaulted by a man who stole her purse containing cash and property, all valued at $85.ROBBERY: Northern District -- Police were seeking two men who robbed a resident of the 2700 block of St. Paul St. of $4 Wednesday in the 2900 block of St. Paul St. After robbing the victim, one of the men kicked him in the face.

BALTIMORE CITY* PURSUIT/ARRESTS: Central District -- Two teen-age boys were arrested late Monday night after the stolen car they were riding in crashed under the Jones Falls Expressway downtown. Shortly after 11 p.m., Officer Richard Boblitz spotted a 1992 Ford Escort with stolen tags and occupied by two youths being driven recklessly on North Avenue. When the car turned onto Guilford Avenue and headed south, Officer Boblitz followed. In the 500 block of Guilford Ave., the car turned east on Centre Street, where the driver lost control and crashed into a trash container, fence and a street sign under the JFX. The car was extensively damaged.

BALTIMORE CITY* STOLEN CAR: Southern District -- A 1984 Chevrolet with Maryland tags VYD 043 was stolen from the 1400 block of Birckhead St. Tuesday or yesterday.* ABDUCTION/RAPE: Southwestern District -- Police were seeking a man who abducted a woman at gunpoint Tuesday and forced her into a house in the 3300 block of Edmondson Ave., where she was raped. The woman was treated at Mercy Medical Center.* ROBBERY: Southwestern District -- A resident of the 4300 block of Seminole Ave. was in the 4500 block of Edmondson Ave. Monday when a man robbed him of $100 while threatening to harm him.* THEFT: Southwestern District -- Someone entered a house in the 3000 block of Belmont Ave. Tuesday and stole more than $100.

No gun was displayed.
