St. Paul's Lutheran will honor senior members Oct. 21 St. Paul's Lutheran Church will hold its "Bless the Years" celebration to recognize the "gift of life" at the church's worship services at 8 a.m., 9:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. Oct. 21 at the church, 308 Oak Manor Drive, Glen Burnie. The Rev. Paul T. Dannenfeldt, pastor emeritus of the church, will speak, and senior members of the church will serve as greeters, readers, ushers and communion assistants. Special recognition will be given to those ages 80 and older.

Howard William Miller, interim pastor of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Uniontown, died Monday of a heart attack at Gettysburg Hospital in Gettysburg, Pa. He was 73 and lived in Gettysburg.Mr. Miller, who decided to give up a teaching career and enter the seminary at age 36, spent the next 37 years serving congregations in Baltimore, Pennsylvania and Florida. In addition to his religious duties, he was frequently asked to perform in local theatrical productions, where his roles included the rabbi in "Fiddler on the Roof" and the butler in "Annie."

On June 7, 2009 RONALD devoted brother of Dolores Bilenki and the late Shelby Burns; uncle of Debra Kramer, Diana Simms, Lisa Merkey and Michael Bilenki. Also survived by 10 grandnieces and nephews as well as three great-grand-nieces. Services will be held Friday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Curtis Bay at 7:30 p.m.

On Monday, January 26, 2003, ELIZABETH THURMAN BOLTON, 80, of Lutherville, died at her daughter's residence in Stewartstown, PA, after a lengthy illness, surrounded by family and loved ones. Mrs. Bolton is survived by three daughters, Linda B. Gardner, Lutherville; Kathi B. Armstrong, Stewartstown, PA; Barbara B. Ricci, Hampstead; and three grandchildren, Annette, Brian, and Timothy. The family will receive visitors on Saturday, February 7th, from 9:30 to 10:30 AM in Spangler Hall, located on the grounds of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Lutherville, followed by an 11 AM Memorial Service at the church.

On July 19, 2004, JEAN E. (nee Mc Intyre) beloved wife of Marlin R. Boyer, loving mother of John Boyer and his wife Vicki, Jeffrey Boyer and his wife Susan and Elizabeth Northrup, adored grandmother of Jonathan, Jennifer, Ben, Megan and Brooke, great-grandmother of Caleigh. Also survived by brothers Alan and Jim Mc Intyre. A memorial service will be held at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 1609 Kurtz Avenue, Lutherville, MD, 21093, on Friday, July 23, at 11 A.M. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the church.

TWO LOCAL institutions have joined the move to the World Wide Web, Crofton's Prince of Peace Church and Arundel High School.The church's Web site was organized by David Fries, a member of the parish, as an Eagle Scout project. David, 15, worked with church members for a year and a half to create a Web site that would best respond to the needs of the parish.Visitors to the site will find worship service schedules, messages from the Rev. Jon B. M. Fregger, and information about church activities, including music, missions, Boy Scouts, day care and Alcohol ics Anonymous meetings.
