Patricia N. Miller, a retired Baltimore County public school secretary and former Hillendale resident, died of complications from a stroke Tuesday at Genesis ElderCare in Severna Park. She was 82. Patricia Nyce, who was born in Baltimore and raised in the city's Pimlico neighborhood, was a 1943 graduate of Seton High School. She worked for 15 years as a secretary in the transportation department of Baltimore County public schools until retiring in 1980. Mrs. Miller, who had lived in Severna Park for 21 years, had been married for 56 years to Donald A. Miller, an insurance executive, who died in 2002.

The Funeral Ceremony will be held on Friday at 1 P.M. in the Funeral Home Chapel.

Donald J. Caldwell, 63, BGE dispatcher, court clerkDonald J. Caldwell, retired Baltimore Gas and Electric Co. dispatcher and former court clerk, died Thursday of cancer at his home in Edgemere. He was 63.Mr. Caldwell, who retired from the utility's Woodlawn operating headquarters in 1992 after a 41-year career with BGE, also worked evenings in the early 1970s as a Baltimore County Circuit Court clerk and was known as "Judge" by his BGE peers.Mr. Caldwell was born and raised in the city's old 10th Ward and was a graduate of city schools.
