On February 7, 2003, A. PAUL TUDDER, of Millersville, Md. beloved husband of Jean L. Tudder, loving father of Dr. Paul A. Tudder, Kathleen L. Herminghaus and George B. Tudder. Dear brother of Helen Bivans, Carol Davis, Bette Baxter, Joseph Tudder and the late Mavis and Donald Tudder. Devoted grandfather of eight grandchildren. A Celebration of life will be held 2 P.M. on April 5 at the Severna Park United Methodist Church. Interment with honors will be held 2 P.M. on April 7 at Arlington National Cemetery.

Hershberger; devoted father of Robert, Lori, and Emily Hershberger and Julie Townshend; stepfather of John Hamilton and Shannon Wilson; dear brother of Helen Atkinson and Louis Hershberger; grandfather of Jonathan and Hope Elizabeth. A Memorial Service will be held at the Severna Park United Methodist Church on Sunday, March 2, 2003, at 2 P.M. Annapolis Chorale to perform concert in restored church The Annapolis Chorale will perform Bach's "St. Matthew's Passion" tomorrow evening at St. Anne's Episcopal Church in Annapolis - the first major event there since work was undertaken on a major restoration of the landmark building on Church Circle. Work on the million-dollar-plus project had prompted a postponement of the concert from March 24. Ernest J. Green, Chorale music director, will lead the Annapolis Chamber Orchestra and soloists in the performance, featuring Bach's original score for two choruses and two orchestras.

For the past 10 years, Cheryl Hancock of Severna Park has been a volunteer with Compassion International, a children's support organization in Colorado Springs, Colo.Financed by monthly donations from U.S. citizens, Compassion International pays the living expenses of needy children around the world.Hancock also is a member of Volunteers in Mission, an outreach program at Severna Park United Methodist Church.Through her work with CI, Hancock and her husband, Woody, learned about the people of La Montana, a village near Barahona in the Dominican Republic.

A TRADE FAIR is planned from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. May 7 at Earleigh Heights Fire Hall on Ritchie Highway.Sponsored by the Greater Severna Park Chamber of Commerce, the fair is free and features exhibits, door prizes, giveaways, entertainment and food, including 25-cent hot dogs.Visitors will be entertained at 5 p.m. by the Chesapeake Academy Chorus; at 5: 30 p.m. by a demonstration of karate and martial arts by Apolo's Eastcoast Karate; at 6 p.m. by the Green Hornets ALL STAR cheerleaders; and at 6: 15 p.m. by the Severna Park High School Dance Team.

AS SUMMER winds down, churches are gearing up to celebrate the end of the season with picnics, peach festivals and membership gatherings. Churches are taking time to appreciate folks in the community and bring them together.Deer Park United Methodist Church will have a fried chicken and ham dinner from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday. The dinner will include green beans, succotash, potato salad, coleslaw, applesauce, tomatoes and cucumbers, rolls and beverages. Crafts and baked goods tables will be available.
