Also survived by seven great grandchildren, one brother, Herman Heywood, daughter-in-law Roxanne Forster, other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends at Orchard Park United Methodist Church, 5020 Gwynn Oak Avenue, Thursday, 11 A.M. Funeral services will begin 11:30 A.M. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery.

William Bachelor Rush, a retired electrician, died Wednesday of cancer at Ruxton Health and Rehabilitation Center of Pikesville. The Arnold resident was 79. Born in Baltimore and raised on Hollins Street, he was a 1942 graduate of City College. He enlisted in the Army during World War II and was a mechanic on fighter planes and a radio operator. Mr. Rush worked as an electrician for 55 years, was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers union and helped wire numerous office buildings in downtown Baltimore.

Three boys were charged with second-degree arson yesterday after accidentally setting fire to an 81-year-old church east of the Carroll County line, Baltimore County police said. Deer Park United Methodist Church in the 6100 block of Deer Park Road near Reisterstown sustained $250,000 in damage when its roof caught fire after midnight yesterday, police said. No one was injured. Police believe the boys - ages 12, 13 and 14 - had been burning materials near the church when it caught fire.

Walkling. Also survived by 12 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Service from the Fletcher Funeral Home, P.A., 254 E. Main St., Westminster on Monday 11 AM. Interment in Deer Park United Methodist Church Cemetery in Smallwood.

Jane R. Redding, a homemaker, died Tuesday at the Spa Creek Center of complications from a fall at her Annapolis home. She was 86. Born Jane Renninger in Glenside, Pa., she was a graduate of the Ogontz School in Rydal, Pa. She earned a home economics degree. Mrs. Redding moved to Severna Park in 1958 and later lived in Towson and Annapolis. She had been a member of Carmel Presbyterian Church in Glenside, Woods Memorial Presbyterian Church in Severna Park and Babcock Presbyterian Church in Towson.

ON July 12, 2003 FRANCIS JOSEPH POTEET JR., of Hanover, MD., devoted husband of Margaret B. Poteet (nee Watson) loving father of Welty Moore Jr., Francis J. Poteet III, and Edythe B. Neighoff, cherished brother of Joseph L. Poteet and Florence Barry, loving grandfather of Daniel W., Brian E. Neighoff and Welty Moore III. Mr. Poteet worked at A&P Warehouse in Halethorpe, for 40 years, before retiring in 1997. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the GARY L.
