Lynn Edward Sipe III, who worked in accounts receivable management, was killed April 4 in a Kent County traffic accident. The Cecilton resident was 32. Mr. Sipe, whose car was involved in an accident with a school bus on Route 213, died at the scene. His wife of a 1 1/2 years, the former Emily Rowe Tarrant, said the accident is under investigation by Maryland State Police. Mr. Sipe was born in Annapolis and raised in Severna Park. He was a 1994 graduate of Severna Park High School, where he played varsity baseball.

On March 18, 2005, GIRARD F. LONG, Executive Director of Pastoral Counseling Services of Maryland, died at his home in Piney Orchard of leukemia, he was 57. Jerry is survived by his wife Janet Long, children Chelsea Bahlman, Summer Long and Joshua Long, brother James and his wife Ruth Long; son-in-law David Bahlman and grandsons Jack Henry Bahlman and Luke Girard Bahlman. Services will be held Tuesday March 22 at 11:00 A.M. at Severna Park United Methodist Church.
