A Jessup man was arrested on drug charges after narcotics were found Thursday in a search of his home, Howard County police said.Oscar Dahl Bailey, 57, of the 8300 block of Washington Blvd. was released on an unsecured bond Friday, a District Court commissioner said.He is charged with possession of cocaine, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia, police said.Patrol officers assisted detectives from the Street Drug Section in serving the search warrant at Mr. Bailey's home, police said.

A Baltimore man was arrested on cocaine and other drug charges after Westminster city police searched a home on South Center Street, authorities said. Leroy Williams Jr., 31 of Bland Avenue was charged with possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, possession of cocaine, possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia. He was released from the Carroll County Detention Center after posting a $10,000 bond, police said. Detectives from the Westminster drug unit seized crack cocaine, weighing scales, manufacturing materials and drug paraphernalia during a search of the home Friday evening, police said.

Three Atholton High School students were arrested yesterday morning after officers found drugs in cars parked at the school during a sweep with drug-sniffing dogs, police said.No drugs were found in the school during the sweep, police said.Charged with possession of marijuana, drug paraphernalia and alcohol was Douglas Wayne Zimmerman, 19, of the 6300 block of Ari Court in Jessup, police said. A 17-year-old boy and a 16-year-old boy were each charged with marijuana possession and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Members of the city police Violent Crimes Task Force raided two clothing stores in west Baltimore last night and seized drug paraphernalia including cutting agents, countless gelatin capsules, thousands of plastic bags and other materials used to package cocaine and heroin.Three men were arrested.Police described the stores as "supermarkets for drug paraphernalia."Sgt. Timothy Devine, a task force leader, listed the stores as Too Much . . . Communication & Oil, in the 1900 block of W. Baltimore St., and Unlimited Wholesale & Retail Men's and Women's Clothing in the 2000 block of W. Baltimore St. They are suspected of being major distribution centers of paraphernalia for the local drug trade.

Narcotics detectives armed with search warrants raided two homes Friday night, arrested seven people and seized 2.4 grams of crack cocaine, 38 grams of marijuana and three marijuana plants, county police said.Detectives raided a home in the 2000 block of Harbour Gates Drive about 7 p.m. and found the cocaine, the marijuana plants, 6 grams of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, police said.Brian Paitsel, 19, Joseph Michael Davis, 19, and Michelle Coppage, 21, all of the Harbour Gates Drive address, and Donna Yvette Martz, 21, of the 200 block of Hanover St. in Annapolis were charged with drug manufacturing and possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Five Carroll County residents were arrested on drug charges late Thursday in two incidents in Westminster, police said.Officers investigating a tip about drug activity raided a room at a Westminster motel on Route 140 about 9: 30 p.m. They seized crack cocaine and paraphernalia, police said.Jeffrey B. Blue, 35, of the 200 block of Stoner Ave., Westminster, was arrested on charges of possession of crack cocaine and paraphernalia. He was released on a $5,000 unsecured bond.Shortly after the raid, officers stopped a vehicle under surveillance on West Main Street.

A monthlong investigation led to the Friday arrests of five people at a Union Bridge home where police reported seizing PCP, cocaine and marijuana.Ten officers from the Carroll County Narcotics Task Force, state police and the Carroll County Sheriff's Department, with a search warrant, raided the home in the 900 block of McKinstrys Mill Road at 8 p.m., said Sgt. John Burton of the task force.Sergeant Burton said the task force confiscated a half-ounce of liquid PCP, 1.5 ounces of parsley flakes mixed with PCP, 2 ounces of marijuana, 1.5 grams of cocaine and drug paraphernalia.

Five Carroll County residents, including a man who was charged with cocaine offenses, were arrested in two drug raids in Westminster over the weekend, authorities said yesterday.Thomas Brown, 46, was arrested about 12: 30 a.m. Saturday when Westminster police detectives, assisted by Carroll County sheriff's deputies, raided an East Main Street apartment.Police said the resident returned home as they were searching the apartment, then fled and was captured. Seized in the raid, police said, were a half-ounce of nearly pure cocaine, a cutting powder used to make crack cocaine, two scales, a police scanner, a telephone pager, $200 and a switch-blade knife.

Resident is charged after Pasadena raidCounty police said yesterday they confiscated marijuana and drug paraphernalia in a raid on a Pasadena home Tuesday night.Police released few details, but said they served a search warrant shortly before 10 p.m. at a home in the 7700 block of Outing Ave.The Northern District's Tactical Narcotics Team said they recovered five 1-ounce bags of marijuana and a device used for smoking the drug.Jody Smith, 24, who lives at the home, was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Two Columbia teens were charged with drug violations Tuesday after narcotics detectives responding to neighbors' complaints searched an Oakland Mills Village home, Howard County police said.The two 17-year-olds, a male and a female, were charged with possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of tobacco by a minor. The male was also charged with possession of alcohol, police said.Each was released into the custody of a parent, police said.About 12: 30 p.m., officers from the Street Drug Section entered a home in the 9500 block of Kilimanjaro Road in Oakland Mills, the target of several complaints about juvenile disturbances and suspected drug activity, police said.
