The smell of chocolate teases the nostrils as Jim Heyl opens the door to the basement of the quaint brick cottage. Clad in a long white apron, he leads the way into a low-ceilinged basement packed with antique machines churning and mixing chocolate. "Welcome to my chocolate factory," says Heyl, owner of Moore's Candies, who grew up in that same Baltimore cottage where confections are churned out for the company's retail store in Bel Air and for commercial customers. "Even adults come here and feel like kids in a candy store.

On November 19, 2004 RAYMOND JOSEPH, beloved son of Joseph and Marion Panzer and the late Shirley Franz, devoted father of Troy and Adam Panzer, loving father-in-law of Melissa Panzer, beloved grandfather of Drew, Logan, Luke and Landen Panzer. Cherished brother of Wayne, Linda, Sheila, Richard and Brian. A Memorial service will be held Tuesday, November 23 at Mr. Raymond Panzer's resident at 2108 Mooreland Drive, Bel Air, MD 21015. A celebration gatering will be held on Friday, November 26 at Stingers Sports Bar, 6900 Belair Road, Baltimore, MD.

Panzer, his wife Joan, Debra J. Hale and her husband Michael, Sr., cherished grandmother of Michael Hale, Jr., and Megan J. Hale, loving cousin of the late Norma Craig, loving sister of the late Dorothy Neuberger. Survived by a brother Killian Neuberger and his wife Joan and a sister-in-law Margaret Watkins, also survived by many nieces and nephews.

For folk music enthusiasts, the Columbia home of Steve and Sherry Panzer is the place to be. Each month their home is a concert venue that attracts local, national and sometimes international musicians. "We have enough of a following where [artists] will use our concert as sort of an anchor gig and be able to plan around it. ... They plan other things based around being able to play at our house," said Steve Panzer, speaking of the singer-songwriters who perform at "The Panzer House Concerts," as the 7-year-old series is called.
