As of 8:30 a.m., traffic was slow on the outer loop of the Baltimore Beltway at the Jones Falls Expressway, due to an accident. Accidents were slowing traffic on I-795 at Owings Mills Boulevard in Baltimore County, Reisterstown and Kingsley roads in Baltimore County and Liberty and Marriottsville roads in Carroll County. Part of Cold Spring Lane was closed around Roland Avenue, due to roadwork. There were no major delays on Baltimore transit systems.

As of 8 a.m. Friday, a two-vehicle crash was reported at the outer loop of the Baltimore Beltway near Interstate 83 in Baltimore County, the State Highway Administration.

As of 9 a.m. Tuesday, traffic was slow on the outer loop of I-695 near Providence Road, due to an accident involving two vehicles. Accidents were slowing traffic at North Avenue and I-83 in Baltimore City, Joppa Road and 9th Avenue in Parkville and Washington Boulevard and Gatewood Drive in Jessup. There are no major delays reported on Baltimore area transit systems.

A collision involving three cars has shut down a northbound lane of I-95, closing off some access to the ramp of 395 into Baltimore City. In Baltimore County, an accident on Harford Road shut down one shoulder of the outer loop. Emergency roadwork is taking place on southbound Maryland 424 in Anne Arundel County at Underwood Road, shutting down one lane and one shoulder, and redirecting traffic. Also, in Anne Arundel County, debris in the roadway was reported on I-695 at exit 8, near Nursery Road.

Collisions closed lanes along I-95 south and the outer loop during Thursday's commute. A four-car collision closed one southbound lane and the left shoulder of I-95 before White Marsh Boulevard at exit 67. The accident had cleared as of 8:25 a.m., according to the State Highway Administration. A three-vehicle collision also shut down a southbound lane and the left shoulder of I-95 near MD 32 in Howard County. Both had reopened as of 8:10 a.m. Earlier, a three-vehicle collision briefly shut down two lanes and the shoulder of the outer loop at Edmondson Avenue, according to the State Highway Administration.

Incidents in Baltimore suburbs caused lane closures during Thursday morning's commute, according to the state Department of Transportation. In Anne Arundel County, a disabled vehicle in the roadway of MD 100 East prior to the Baltimore Washington Parkway closed one of three eastbound shoulders at 7:50 a.m., DOT said. The transportation authority reported two collisions on the outer loop of Interstate 695 in Baltimore County. A five-vehicle collision on the outer loop of I-695 past Frederick Road has closed two of three outer loop traffic lanes and the outer loop traffic shoulder at 7:10 a.m. And, a two-vehicle collision on the outer loop of I-695 at Dogwood Road has closed one of two outer loop shoulders at 7:57 a.m., DOT said.

Emergency roadwork on the outer loop of Interstate 695 at Chesaco Avenue has closed one of four traffic lanes and one of two shoulders at 9:24 a.m., according to the state Department of Transportation. Traffic Morning commute snarled by accidents, including two with injury Several accidents, including a fatal crash in Baltimore County, hampered Thursday morning's traffic, according to the state Department of Transportation. The morning commute became snarled at 5:41 a.m., due to a deadly accident involving three vehicles that closed all lanes and both shoulders of the Interstate 695 inner loop near Belair Road in the Overlea area of Baltimore County, DOT said. One adult was killed in the accident, and at least one adult and one child were injured and transported to area hospitals in critical condition, a Baltimore County Fire Department dispatcher confirmed.

Four firefighters and three civilians were injured early Wednesday morning when a tractor trailer and a fire engine collided and flipped over a dividing wall on Interstate 495 in Prince George's County, according to fire officials. The accident temporarily closed all lanes of the highway in both directions as emergency responders reached the scene and began treating the injured, and some lanes remained closed hours later. About 2:50 a.m., the fire engine was responding to another accident on the inner loop of the Capital Beltway just south of Route 50 when it was rear-ended by the tractor trailer, said Chief Alicia Francis, a Prince George's Fire Department spokeswoman.

A tractor trailer overturned in a median on Interstate 695 near Hollins Ferry Road in Baltimore County about 10 p.m. Wednesday, shutting down lanes on both the inner and outer loops because of a fuel spill, officials said. The driver of the tractor trailer was taken to the hospital with minor injuries, according to the Maryland State Police. No other cars were involved. Several lanes surrounding the median were closed as hazardous materials teams tried to clean up the fuel. The road remained closed as of 11 p.m. Wednesday.

As of 9 a.m. Monday, state highway officials reported a multiple vehicle accident on the outer loop of the Baltimore Beltway at exit 17, Security Boulevard. State highway officials also reported a lane closure at Interstate 95 northbound in Harford County, before exit 85 to Churchville Road. MTA reported no major delays to MARC service.
