POLICE LOG* Ellicott City: Dorsey Run Road/Route 32: A rear Maryland license plate labeled YGZ584 was stolen from a car Friday night.3600 block of Scheel Drive: A brick mailbox that was cemented into the ground was knocked over last Tuesday or Wednesday.2600 block of Orchard Ave: More than $325 in camera equipment was stolen from a light blue Ford LTD Nov. 16 or Nov. 17.8500 block of High Ridge Road: A $200 double-barrel, 12-gauge shotgun and 12 antique shells were stolen from a resident's truck early last Tuesday morning.

POLICE LOG* Ellicott City: 10400 block of Springtwig Court: Someone forced open a garage door of a house under construction and stole several appliances between 12:32 a.m. and 12:35 a.m. Thursday.

POLICE LOG* Hickory Ridge: 6300 block of Golden Hook: Golf clubs, tapes and a saw were stolen from a garage Wednesday. Police said a garage door opener was taken from an unlocked vehicle parked in the driveway and used to open the garage door.

POLICE LOG* Glenwood: 2800 block of Florence Road: Someone pried open a garage door Friday, but police said there was no entry.* Marriottsville: 800 block of Driver Road: A white 1993 Toyota Supra with Maryland tags AXL294 was reported stolen Friday, police said.

POLICE LOG*North Laurel: 9500 block of Whiskey Bottom Road: Police found a home ransacked Friday after someone entered by kicking open a garage door and prying a rear window. An unknown amount of property was taken.*Guilford: 7200 block of Procopio Circle: A red, white and blue 1993 Honda CR 80 dirt bike was stolen between Thursday and Sunday, police said.

Police logOwen Brown: 6600 Dobbin Road: Late Friday or early Saturday, someone pried open a garage door at I/O Magnetics, entered a warehouse and stole two televisions. Nearby -- about the same time -- a garage door at Medical Systems Inc. was pried open and tools, a television and a computer were stolen.Pub Date: 10/23/96

* North Laurel: 9200 block of Gross Avenue: Someone entered an unlocked 1987 Ford Ranger Tuesday and stole a $15 brown wallet and a Maryland driver's license from a glove compartment. The wallet was recovered nearby.* 9300 block of Northgate Road: Someone used a device to break into a 1986 Nissan pick-up truck Tuesday and ransacked the glove compartment. The intruder stole a $25 woman's alligator wallet and Sunoco, Shell and Texaco credit cards.* 9700 block of Covered Wagon Drive: Someone slashed the top to a 1987 Mazda RX-7 and took papers Sunday or Monday.

POLICE LOG* North Laurel: 8800 block of Herons Flight: A burglar walked into an open garage, entered the adjacent home through an unlocked door, stole keys and drove away a green 1991 Ford Explorer parked in the garage Wednesday night or early Thursday. The stolen vehicle's Maryland tags were ABY 62F, police said.9900 block of U.S. 1: Someone used previously stolen keys to enter Sam's Place and took cash from a safe and a money drawer late Thursday or early Friday, police said.9700 block of U.S. 1: A gray 1994 Mazda Protege with Maryland tags 374 AWK was stolen Wednesday or Thursday.
