The third Baltimore Beer Week came to a close Sunday. Over 300 tastings, homebrewing competitions and lectures were squeezed into the event's 11 days, sending thousands of beer lovers to bars in the city and the county. How did this  year's event compare to last year's? Heavy Seas' Hugh Sisson had said before the week started that one goal for 2011 was to spread out more events so that there would be more quality instead of just an abundance of stuff for fans to pick from. Were organizers successful?
