An obituary published Friday in The Sun for Cleopatra Franko inadvertently omitted the name of a son. She is also survived by Andrew T. Franko of Severna Park. The Sun regrets the error.

James J. McGlothern: In an obituary published Saturday, the name of James Jefferson McGlothern's college was inadvertently omitted. Mr. McGlothern earned his bachelor's degree in 1956 from Loyola College. The Sun regrets the omission.

It was incorrectly stated in an obituary published May 18 that Royal Guy was chief evangelist of the pulpit of Ebenezer AME Church in Hagerstown. In fact, he held that position in the Church of God and Saints of Christ, also in Hagerstown.The Sun regrets the error.

Berry Chalmers Rogers: An obituary published yesterday incorrectly reported that no services were held for Berry Chalmers Rogers, 76, formerly of Baltimore, who died June 8 in Columbia, S.C. In fact, services were held there June 12 at St. John's Episcopal Church. John E. Merriken Jr.: An obituary published in Sunday's editions of The Sun erroneously listed the date of a memorial service for John E. Merriken Jr. of Simpsonville, 82, a retired Army officer and railroad historian, who died Sept. 11. The service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at St. Mark's Episcopal Church, 12700 Hall Shop Road in Howard County.Pub Date: 10/01/96
