Baltimore police say a man was shot Sunday and walked into an area hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening. Police believe the man was shot near the intersection of West Cold Spring Lane and Dolfield Avenue, which is about a block from the West Cold Spring subway station. The gunshot injury to the man is a wound to his upper back, police said. No more information was immediately available. cwells@baltsun.com twitter.com/cwellssun

City police said they have busted a large scale drug and gun operation in Northwest Baltimore, seizing weapons and cash and arresting a convicted gun offender. Officers raided a house in the 5300 block of Liberty Heights Ave. on Tuesday afternoon. The target, Roger Dyer, was inside, police said, and was charged with gun and drug offenses. "Investigators believe Dyer was a supplier to Northwest Baltimore's drug supply and contributed to violence in the community," Police said in a statement.

Baltimore police say a man found dead Wednesday morning in Northwest Baltimore was killed from a gunshot wound to the chest, police said. A woman called police at 8:56 a.m. to report a man lying at the side of her house in the 5200 block of Cuthbert Avenue, in the Arlington neighborhood, said Detective Jeremy Silbert, a police spokesman. Officers arrived on the scene and found a deceased man, Silbert said. He was identified as Ramah Reid, 26, of the 5600 block of Winner Ave. Police had no suspects and did not reveal a motive in the homicide.
