BALTIMORE CITYTHEFT: Southwestern District -- A man entered the home of a relative in the 4100 block of Glen Hunt Road early Sunday morning and stole a gold chain valued at $700.* STOLEN CAR: Southwestern District -- A 1989 Chrysler with Maryland license plates XSL240 and owned by a resident of the 3300 block of Lynnhaven Ave. was stolen Sunday from the 3400 block of Windsor Mill Road.* CHURCH BURGLARY: Southwestern District -- Someone entered a storage shed at Beechfield United Methodist Church in the 400 block of S. Beechfield Ave. between Saturday night and Sunday morning and stole a riding mower, a gas-operated lawn mower and a weed eater, all valued at nearly $3,000.

Baltimore CityBURGLARY/ASSAULT: Northeastern District -- Brenda Thomas, of the 4400 block of Clareway, reported that a man she knows broke into her home early yesterday and threatened her with a knife. Police said Thomas was not injured and that Purnell Dixon, 39, of the 1700 block of Lennox St., was arrested and charged with burglary and assault by threat with a deadly weapon.THEFT: Northeastern District -- Desiree Freeman, of the 5900 block of Radecke Ave., reported someone removed a Christmas decoration and sign from the front door of her home.

Baltimore CitySHOOTING: Central District -- Christopher Royster, 18, of the 500 block of Yale Ave., is listed in good condition at the Maryland Shock Trauma Center after being shot twice in the buttocks early today in the 500 block of W. Hoffman St. Police said Mr. Royster refused to give them information about the man who shot him or why he was shot.ROBBERY: Central District -- Two men, one with a gun, robbed a Duvall Avenue man of $60 at a 24-hour teller machine in the 19900 block of N. Charles St. Monday evening.
