On July 27, 2006, NELSON HARRY FACKLER, SR. beloved husband of the late Marie (nee Phipps) Fackler: loving father of Nelson H. Fackler, Jr. and his wife Carroll, Diane M. Gucwa and her husband Michael: devoted grandfather of Nelson H. Fackler, III, Randy S. Fackler, Marce Fackler Hughes, Robert M. Carter, Jr., Kyle D. Carter and Christopher H. Carter: also survived by nine great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at the HUBBARD FUNERAL HOME, INC., 4107 Wilkens Avenue on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Church of the Resurrection, Ellicott City on Monday at 10 A.M. Interment to follow at Loudon Park Cemetery.

On January 15, 2010 RANSOM J., beloved husband of Katherine T. (Kitty), devoted father of Ransom E. (Ted) Davis and his wife Lindsey, brother of Suzanne Davis, Patricia Troyer, Carol Davis, Robert and Michael Davis. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. On January 1, 2005 FLORENCE E. MURPHY (nee Panzone) beloved wife of the late Lawrence E. Murphy. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews. Memorial Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Victory Church on Monday at 6:30 p.m. Interment private.

On October 13, 2009, GEORGE NICHOLAS MENTIS, devoted husband of the late Yolanda Mentis, beloved brother of Beatty Mentis, Nicholas Mentis, Rose Quinnt and the late Gloria Mentis. Also survived by brother-in-law, William Quinnt and other loving nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends at the St. Michael The Arc Angel Church at 11 A.M. on Friday, October 23, 2009. JOSEPH BANDIERA, formerly of Baltimore, MD, passed away June 8, 2006 in Scottsdale, AZ. He is survived by many nieces and nephews, as well as great-nieces and nephews. Interment with military honors will be Thursday, July 20, 2006 at 11:00 AM at Gardens of Faith Memorial Cemetery in the Sermon on the Mount section, 5598 Trumps Mill Rd, Baltimore, MD.

On November 3, 2003, ADDIE L. WHEELER. She is survived by a brother, Elwood L. Wheeler, and many nieces and nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews. Interment was in Druid Ridge Cemetery in Pikesville on November 6th. Services were private. If desired, contributions may be made to the Addie L. Wheeler Scholarship Fund at Towson University.

Charles A. "Buck" Breitenbach, a retired steamfitter and World War II infantryman, died of heart failure Sept. 29 at Anne Arundel Medical Center. The Chester resident was 87. Mr. Breitenbach was born in Baltimore and raised in Baltimore Highlands, where he lived until moving to Chester about 15 years ago. He was a graduate of city public schools. During World War II, Mr. Breitenbach enlisted in the Army and fought at the Battle of the Bulge, where he was wounded and earned two Purple Hearts.
