Joan Abel of Annapolis has been appointed to the board of directors of the Charles Carroll House of Annapolis Inc. She has also been elected vice president of the corporation, which is a non-profit organization established in 1987 to raise funds and restore Carroll House, the birthplace of Charles Carroll of Carrollton.Abel, a native of Brooklyn, holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, and has pursued advanced studies in urban design at Columbia University.

Concini, a certified public accountant from Bel Air, as vice president and internal auditor.Concini, a graduate of Towson State University, received her accountant certification in Maryland in 1987.She was previously the assistant vice president and audit manager with Baltimore Federal Financial. She has worked as an audit officer for Equitable Bancorporation.
