Marriotts Ridge senior Zoe Stukenberg showed there was one key to the No. 8 Mustangs' 13-12 girls lacrosse win over archrival Mount Hebron that lasted into the fourth overtime: Don't quit. Stukenberg, an All-Metro midfielder headed to Maryland, scored not only the game-winning goal with 1:13 left in the fourth overtime period, but she also scored the tying goal with 1:02 left in regulation and assisted Jenna Kerr's buzzer-beating goal to tie the game at 12 in the first overtime. "We were dragging," Stukenberg said.

Chachi Kelehan's open-net goal with 38 seconds left to play gave the Mount Hebron girls lacrosse team the cushion it needed to hold off Glenelg, 8-6, in a game played at Cedar Lane Park. Kelehan got the shot when Glenelg goalkeeper Megan Taylor (15 saves) came out of the goal circle to double-team on defense. Jen Giles put No. 6 Mount Hebron on the scoreboard six seconds after the game began. "That startled us for a second," Taylor said. Giles quickly added a second score, but the Vikings were never able to get more than a two-goal advantage.

The Century boys showed their depth at Saturday's Pikesville Track Classic. Julian Woods won three different events, and Jake Stefanick finished first in another, but it was Chandler Kennell's late win in the pole vault - the last event to finish - that pushed No. 2 Century past No. 6 Digital Harbor at Pikesville. Kennell set a meet record with his effort of 14 feet, one inch. Nicholas Neral added a fourth-place finish in the event, and those 13 points let Century (69) top Digital Harbor (60)

Catonsville's Deb Milani was the best player on the field, but Mount Hebron was the best team. Milani scored a game-high five goals, but a balanced Mount Hebron offense, a dominant performance on draw controls by senior midfielder Sam Brookhart, and a clutch second-half effort by senior goalkeeper Madison Fisher proved to be the difference in the sixth-ranked Vikings' 13-8 victory over visiting Catonsville. Sophomore midfielder Jen Giles scored a team-high four goals for Mount Hebron (6-1)
