Wife of the late Joe Dyer; daughter of the late Lewis and Mae Hopkins; sister of Rev. Lewis Hopkins (Helen), Linda Johnson (Mack), Brozene Holt and the late J.W. Hopkins. Brenda is also survived by her faithful companion Snowball and several nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, May 16, 2006 in the Chapel of Mayes Mortuary, 444 W. Main St., Morristown, TN where services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 17, 2006.

DONALD JONES, 78, Mentor of young Hillary Rodham Drew University professor and Methodist minister Donald G. Jones, who was spiritual mentor for future first lady, senator and secretary of state Hillary Rodham Clinton, died Thursday at age 78. University spokesman David Muha said Dr. Jones - who taught social ethics for 36 years at the New Jersey school - died at Morristown Memorial Hospital of natural causes. Dr. Jones served in the Navy and then attended Augustana College in South Dakota and graduated in 1957.

She is survived by her brother Paul Strazzire and his wife Marge and Joseph Strazzire and his wife Debbie, both from Baltimore. Viewing at Villa Walsh, Morristown, New Jersey on Thursday December 2, 2004, 3 to 8 P.M. Funeral Liturgy will be in St. Lucy Chapel, Villa Walsh, Morristown, N.J., 4 P.M. Friday, December 3. FAYE UNTHANK LURZ, age 82 passed away Sunday, February 1, 2009, in Bean Station, TN. She was a longtime resident of Baltimore County. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Lurz; sons, Westley and Scott. Surviving children, Walter Lurz of FL, Kurt Lurz of SC, Mark Lurz of TN, Linda Lurz of MD, Neva Nolen of TN and Kara Lurz of TN. She will be missed by eleven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. Service was held on Wednesday, February 4, 2009 in Morristown, TN.

A vast wilderness reserve teeming with wildlife, and a nearby raptor rehabilitation facility that leaves no bird behind are fascinating destinations for families eager to teach youngsters about nature. The two natural enclaves, on the outskirts of Morristown, N.J., are remarkably uncrowded and remain something of an insider's secret. On a country road outside Morristown, great oaks and maples tower over the road lined with houses. Then the country changes at Millington into lush meadows and wetlands.

Dr. Andrew T. Wiley, a former surgeon and family planning specialist with federal and state agencies, died of a heart attack Saturday at his Columbia home. He was 74.For 20 years until he retired in 1991, Dr. Wiley was a family planning specialist with the U.S. Agency for International Development and the Maryland Maternal Health and Family Planning Office. Earlier, he served with the Peace Corps from 1968 to 1970 in Tonga.After he retired, he was a volunteer public policy adviser at the Population Institute in Washington.
